âŒïžannouncement, a new lookback cross-scout with the general theme: "the reasons for..."
synopsis: after Yumenosaki was reorganized into ES Academy, some potential students began to be wary of enrolling there because of the aura of pathos that had built up around everything related to ES. unfortunately, all students turned out to be busy, so the advertising campaign was entrusted to those who had spent the most time at the Academy â the teachers. but no one expected that the interviewer-assistant on the show would be their long-time fan, who would be obsessed with the idea of finding out all the details of the life and career path of "the former super idol Sagami Jin" and "Shining Prince Akiomi Kunugi". and under the pretext of attracting new students the interviewer would begin to dig into the reasons for their enrolling in Yumenosaki...
unfortunately, due to preparations for the fifth anniversary of the last story where Jin and Akiomi had at least a little important roles, we ran out of money, energy and time, so there will be no bloomed versions đ /ref to HE announcement
...Im not going to write the story either, bcs HE didn't pay for my writing and english courses lol
I'm being late for April fool's day, but!!! I'm proud of myself

Hokuto: ăŒAnd then, this will be your answer. Do you understand?
Aira: âŠI am sorry, I didnât get any of it at all.
Hokuto: Why is it so? From what point did you not follow?
Aira: S-since the beginning.
Hokuto: What did you just sayâŠ
[Let's start! âȘ]
Location: Seisoukan Book room
Hokuto: Alright, so this is the place where they put the book describing the role huh? I get most of the gist now, so let's call it a day and return to my dorm.
Aira: Haa...
Hokuto: (Huh...? The one over there looks like Shiratori-kun, what's the matter with him? How to put it, I feel the air around him is quite heavy.)
Aira: (It is not gotta end, not gotta end!!)
(You are telling me to finish all these dozens of math prints by tomorrow... That's impossible! There is no way I can do it!)
(Urgh, but my math test result is just too awful, I felt so bad... Especially with that kind of grade...)
(But that was because I was busy with work recently! I didn't have the time to study for the test!)
(Hah... I just keep complaining, but not that it will help me lessen this mountain of homework... If I knew things would be like this, I would have asked Hiro-kun to help me study.)
(It can't be helped, I just have to push through. Let's start with the first question...)
The first question...?
What the hell is this, I can't understand anything at all!
Hokuto: You must keep quiet inside the book room, Shiratori-kun.
Aira: Wah-wah, Hidaka-senpai! I'm so sorry! Did I just say everything out loud?
Hokuto: It is fine since there is no one other than me here, but you should be more careful. You need to mind the precise manner when using common places like here.
Aira: Yes, I will be more careful in the future...
Hokuto: Aside from that, whatâs the matter? You are making a lot of funny faces by yourself just now.
Aira: Y-You saw that...!? No way, I am so embarrassed~!
Hokuto: No, it was quite interesting to see, I might refer to it in the future. Acting requires expressing a lot of complicated emotions after all.
Aira: B-but still, being stared at by Hidaka-senpai like that!
Hokuto: I forgot to greet you. Sorry about that. Moreover, you seem to be troubled by something?
Aira: Ah, you see, my math result is quite terrible, so I was given a lot of these homework papers. However, I donât understand any question at allâŠ
I was going to ask Hasumi-senpai to teach me in our âKeito Lectureâ activity, but unfortunately, it seems that he has a job today. I have to make it through by myself somehow.Â
Hokuto: I see. Well, you normally have to balance between studying and idol work. The problem here seems to be that even when you have the time to do your homework, you often feel unmotivated with your study.
Aira: Urghgh, you got that right, I canât retortâŠ
Hokuto: By the way, how much did you score on the last test?
Aira: Uhm⊠I-I got three points.
Hokuto: Hmm, that is quite alarming. If you already stumble with schoolwork since the first year, all the practical questions will get more difficult when you move up to the next grades.
Aira: No way, if I canât keep up with my study, how am I going to continue to work as an idol anymore!
Hokuto: I know. How about I will personally tutor you, Shiratori-kun?
Aira: H-Hidaka-senpai will?
Hokuto: Ah, I donât have any subject Iâm fundamentally bad at, and I am better at studying than most people. Moreover, helping a troubled junior is what a normal senior should do.
Aira: Really!? Thank you so much! Please help me with your guidance!
Hokuto: Alright, let us start swiftly. What questions do you not understand?
Aira: Erm, it is this question. âThe little brother has left the house early and the big brother notices that he has forgotten something. How long will it take for the big brother to chase after him?â
Hokuto: Fumu⊠This is not a question for high school freshmen, rather this is a question you learned in middle school.
Aira: Ahaha⊠My grades are so bad that I guess I am being told to go back to the basics. I doubt that I can solve them later onâŠ
Hokuto: I see. Then letâs start right away. The walking speed of the little brother is 80 meters per minuteâŠ
(Several minutes later)
Hokuto: ăŒAnd then, this will be your answer. Do you understand?
Aira: âŠI am sorry, I didnât get any of it at all.
Hokuto: Why is it so? From what point did you not follow?
Aira: S-since the beginning.
Hokuto: What did you just sayâŠ
Aira: But how should I put it, this question doesnât make any sense to me in the first place. I get confused because why there will be some kind of situation that makes the big brother run after his little brother to give him his stuff like this?
Hokuto: Hmm. If that is so, how about you replace these brothers with someone you are familiar with?
Aira: I see! Is there anyone who can fit in this situation? If any brothers I am familiar with⊠Maybe Hiro-kun and Rinne-senpai?
Hokuto: Certainly they do fit in the situation of delivering the forgotten item, but the big brother might end up stopping by a pachinko lot midway. In the end, he might not be able to meet up with the little brother.
Even if we change to let the little brother come after him, underage canât go inside the lot anyway.
Aira: Ahaha, I get the point. Then how about the Sakuma brothers?
Hokuto: In those brothersâ case, if the big brother is chasing after the little brother, then the little brother will never let the big brother meet up with him.
Aira: I can totally see that! Every pair of brothers we know is super wacky âȘ None of them might gotta match the question here though!
Hokuto: Then how about thinking of Shiratori-kun as the little brother being chased after?
Aira: I am the person who is being chased after? Uhm~ who will be the other one here?
Someone Iâm familiar with and can notice when I forget my stuff⊠might be Tassun-senpai. Ah! But having my favorite idols come after me to give my thing back might be the best thing ever!
After all, we all live together under Seisoukan anyway âȘ Maybe after âPretty 5âs activity, Tomoe-senpai is going to chase after me to give back my forgotten item~ Ufufufufu âȘ
Hokuto: Hmm, Tomoe-senpai you say⊠For sure, he will notice that you have forgotten your thing, but he might not be the one to directly pursue you. Maybe he will make Sazanami run after you in his place, or call a taxi and have them drive him back to Seisoukan.
Either way, instead of chasing after you, he might arrive at the dorm before you do.
Aira: Iâm totally fine with that, especially when Tomoe-senpai is waiting for me at the dorm, right? If that really happens, I would want to forget my stuff every day âȘ
Hokuto: I see. You can think about it in that way. Then what if Iâm the person who forgets their thing, who will be the one delivering it?
Aira: Hidaka-senpai and Akehoshi-senpai often are together, right? How about Akehoshi-senpai?
Hokuto: Instead of myself being on the receiving end, I think he will be the one who forgets his stuff and needs me to deliver it for him.
Aira: Then how about in this questionâs case? If you put it in context, Hidaka-senpai and Akehoshi-senpai might fit perfectly âȘ
Hokuto: Hmm? I donât think so. If anything, this question isnât really about usâŠ
Aira: Ahaha âȘ Maybe you are right about it!
Hokuto: Actually on our last day off, I was together with Akehoshi in Seisoukan, and weăŒ
Location: Yumenosaki Staff Room
(The next day)
Akiomi: My goodness, why you didnât finish your homework?
Aira: Iâm sorry! You see, there were a lot of things happening⊠Ehehe âȘ
Akiomi: What are you laughing about!
Aira: M-my apologies!
Akiomi: Whatever your reason might be, missing your deadline is a no-good thing, both in your normal idol activity and in your own regular life! Do you hear me, in the first place, your math test result isâŠ
Aira: (Urgh~ Todayâs lecture will be hella long as wellâŠ)
(In the end, I couldnât finish any of my homework, but I am super happy that I got Hidaka-senpai to tutor me âȘ Hidaka-senpai actually has a lot of funny particulars about him.)
(I only knew Hidaka-senpaiâs idol side before, but when I tried to talk to him, he was a more interesting person than I had expected âȘ)
(Next time if I have another homework assignment, I want Hidaka-senpai to tutor me again~)
Koga: Oh! I thought ya were a despicable guy, but unexpectedly ya have some good understandin' sense huh!
Eichi: ...âȘ
[Ï(ăâœă*)âȘ]
Location: Rhythm Link Office
Koga: Ya want me to join the âSummitâ?
Rei: Yes. I have work on the next scheduled âSummitâ. Neither I nor Hasumi-kun can likely participate on that day.
So I want you to act like a step-in and partake, thatâs the thingâŠ
Koga: Then why me? Some other dudes hafta be free that day, too.
Rei: I checked the schedule. The only one who is free that day is you, Koga.
Koga: Ainât that too sudden... Do I necessarily need to take part?
Rei: ...It is Tenshouin-kun that Iâm weary of. He can use RhyLinâs vacant seat that day and try to pull some sinister schemes, which might become unfavorable for us.
And if not him, âSummitâ also has Saegusa-kun there. If we donât have an exclusive, it can create an obvious opening and I would like to avoid that.
Koga: I see. In other words, ya want me to come and watch out for other agencies' weird movements, and threaten them?
Rei: I wonât say you need to go as far as threaten them. Even if itâs just a step-in but as long as RhyLin has a representative, others wonât try and think about doing any imprudent thing.
Koga: Got the gist... But for real, I canât get hyped at all.
âSummitâ is the place to talk about some troublesome things, right? Just thinkinâ about it already bores the shit out of me.
(...No, wait.)
(âSummitâ is the place all the high and mighty dudes in ES come, right?)
(Ainât this the direct chance to vent all the pent-up frustration about ESâs system and whatsoever?)
Hah! I got ya, Sakuma-senpai. I gotta join the âSummitâ in yer stead âȘ
Location: Reception Room
Koga: (The place they hold the âSummitâ, is this the room?)
Hinata: Ah, over here~ Ogami-senpai!
Tori: So it is real, Ogami-senpai is the substitute that participates in their stead.
Koga: What? Ya questioninâ me?
Yuuta: If you donât understand anything, we can explain it to you. Please feel free to ask anytime, Ogami-senpai â
Akiomi: Please wrap up your idle talk. You should hurry and take your seat now, the âSummitâ is about to start.
Tsumugi: Here you go, Ogami-kun. Here are todayâs documents.
Koga: Thank you, Aoba-senpai.
(Geh- Itâs crammed entirely with complicated stuff...)
Eichi: Then, let us start the âSummitâ. Firstly, letâs begin with each agencyâs activity reports...
After a while
Eichi: This is StarProâs upcoming planned events. Do you have any questions?
Koga: Zzz... âȘ
Hinata: Hey, Yuuta-kun. He is definitely sleeping, right?
Yuuta: What are you even saying, Aniki? You donât even need to ask, he is already deep in the dreamland.
Koga: ...!? That was close, I almost fell asleep.
Tori: No way, you were totally snoozing there! Even if you are trying to play it cool now, it is too late already!
Koga: Hah? Didnât snooze. I was seriously listeninâ.
Tori: Then tell me the plan Eichi-sama was talking about just now!
Koga: âŠUrgh. T-that shit is already written here on the documents anyway. Ya just need to read it from the paper.
Ibara: Now now, Mr. Ogami has a lot of stress built up in his body, right? âUNDEADâ recently has become a chart-topping variety show's âunitâ too.
Koga: Argh? What was that, gotta talk some nasty shit to me now?
Akiomi: It was your fault for falling asleep just then. You should show more apprehension in this kind of meeting.
Koga: ...My bad.
But hey, why are yâall explainin' the things that have already been written on the materials anyway?
Tsukasa: Conveying the content of the materials verbally can help you implement them. It is not a particularly odd thing, isnât it?
Koga: Thatâs not what I meant. Since all the agencyâs representatives are sittin' here right now, we should talk about something more useful!
Tsumugi: Uhm, what does Koga-kun consider to be useful talks?
Koga: Well... about that. Like what kind of lives ya want to do, that kind of want?
If we do a rockin' live then fans will also jack up a lot! Ainât that the thing that makes all agencies merry too âȘ
Tori: Haa... You really are a child, Ogami-senpai.
Eichi: What kind of lives you want to do, you say... Fufu, quite intriguing.
Today we already disseminated all the things we need to share and our general talk has finished. There isnât a topic that specifically needs to be brought up as well.
In that case, how about we discuss the useful talk Ogami-kun has mentioned?
Tori: Eichi-sama!?
Koga: Oh! I thought ya were a despicable guy, but unexpectedly ya have some good understandin' sense huh!
Eichi: ...âȘ
Tsukasa: (Tenshouin-oniisama is taking on Ogami-senpaiâs idea...? What is he planning?)
Ibara: (Iâm intrigued about His Eminenceâs intention... For now, I should stay low and match their pace for a bit.)
Sounds like a good idea. Then, let us continue by brainstorming our configuration â
Tsumugi: Wah! Sounds fun~ âȘ
Tori: (Whispers) Is it really fine with you, Eichi-sama?
Eichi: (Whispers) Having the same members doing the same talk in every âSummitâ is a monotonous thing to do.
(Whispers) At a time like this, when a new breeze is blowing in, should we try and follow along with it for a little bit?
Koga: Heheh, then I will go first! Ya lots, clean yer ears and hear me out!
Location: Seisoukan Common Room
Rei: Goodness me, Hasumi-kun is such a worrywart.
He tells me to inquire Koga directly about the âSummitâ discussion. He isnât a child who can stir up some problems in just one day of being substitute.
Eichi: Yah, Sakuma-kun. You have returned.
Rei: Isnât it you, Tenshouin-kun? My apology for not being able to join the âSummitâ today.
Eichi: It is not a big deal. Your substitute solidly stood his place.
Rei: About that, how was Koga? I hope he didnât cause any trouble for Tenshouin-kun and everyone on his first âSummitâ partaking.
Eichi: He didnât cause any issue at all. Rather, thanks to him, we were able to have a beneficial discussion âȘ
Rei: You said you had a beneficial discussion...?
Eichi: If there is an occasion, please ask him to come again.
Well then, I will be going now.
Rei: What does he mean? Why was Tenshouin-kun happy that Koga joined them...?
Koga, what have you done at the âSummitâ?
Koga: I thought I heard someoneâs mumbles, it is just ya, Sakuma-senpai.
Rei: Oh, speak of the devil. Sorry for the suddenness, but how was todayâs âSummitâ?
Koga: Tsk, even ya asked the same question. That glasses bastardâs been blowin' up my Hold-hands and grillin' me for the same thing.
Even when I told him there wasnât any big deal goin' on.
Rei: From your response, I can see that everything was really fine and all... But then, whatâs with the attitude from that Tenshouin-kun?
Koga: Tenshouin-senpai? That was unexpected, he was a more sensible dude than I thought he would be.
Rei: Sensible, you say...? What did you talk about at the âSummitâ?
Koga: What we talked about...
(Seems that normally they donât talk about their ideal lives and stuff. If I just blunt straight out, wonât it become a pain in the ass later?)
...Nothing too hot.
Rei: W-what, Koga. Whatâs with your response...!? Was it something you couldnât even tell me?
Koga: Not really. There is nothing I need to talk about.
Is our talk done? If so, I will go back to my room now.
Rei: Hault! ...It couldnât be, that Koga have gotten appeased by Tenshouin-kun...?
Our talk isnât finished yet! Hey, where are you going? Koga dear!?
