smoking at sunrise // seattle september 2020
sunrise // wildfire season - September 2020, of course the year got weirder and weirder, why wouldn't it? major wildfires in Canada turned the sky bright orange for a day - it was truly eerie
seattle // kerry park views - august 2020
scenes from the summer - july 2020
july 2020 - pandemic film edition. these portra 800 snaps all feel so far away now, the pandemic was on it's 4 month, the stock and crypto markets were soaring, blm was still roaring and the world was trying to figure itself out. after a couple months of not really shooting much i was finally getting back into making art / documenting the world with more than just a point and shoot
pandemic scans - may / june 2020 - portra 400
i really didn't shoot much during the early pandemic months - pretty much everything was shot on a little point and shoot film camera - some scenes from an empty downtown and the earliest days of blm protests
seattle, spring 2020 - portra 400 i think
seattle - june 2020
april 2020 - portra 400
in some ways it was still business as usual - mid march 2020
really is interesting looking back on these shots from very early on in the pandemic, in many ways live is still completely normal but knowing now how much everything was going to change you can see the signs.
seattle - early march 2020
took some photos on the way to the film lab - such a strange in between time in the world - i believe the first covid death in the US had just been linked to a retirement home out in the suburbs.
winter light // early sunsets - February 2020
somewhere in the mountains
Sapporo - february 2020
sky city - tokyo, february 2020
tokyo nights - febraury 2020
adventures in japan - february 2020
