Cat frowned once the woman had mentioned her date abandoning her. That was more than a little harsh. ‘Well, maybe they didn’t abandon you… it’s not normally this busy. It’s only so busy because we were playing here tonight. My bandmates are from this area so they tend to do smaller homecoming type shows… I think it’s kinda stupid but it’s not exactly nostalgic for me so I don’t say anything. There’s a chance your date just lost you in there. If they did abandon you… well that’s their loss. They’d be a fool to just leave a pretty woman all on her own. And a complete asshole to leave a woman alone in an unfamiliar area in general.’ The brunette played with the zip on one of the pockets on her jacket, ‘I won’t tell anyone you’re lost, if you don’t tell them I’m not even old enough to be here. Not many people care about rules in Japan, so I would sneak into places all the time, but… America is a little stricter. Because apparently it’s fine to put your life on the line for the military at the age of 18, but drinking on the weekends is totally ridiculous, right? Anyway, you need help, and I’m willing to help you. I’m Cat, by the way, I don’t know if you listened to the band introduction or anything.’

“I’m pretty sure she abandoned me.” Samiha said with a bit of a shrug. She honestly didn’t care, she just wanted to know where she was. “That’s sweet of you guys to do, small homecoming shows.” She chuckled. “Oh no no--she just walked off into the crowd and left me there, didn’t try to lead me through or show me in she just vanished.” the Indian woman said shrugging and brushed her hair over her shoulder. “Well no one said they were good people, so....” She bit her lip but smiled. “Wait--So you’re...18?” She said suddenly feeling very old. The 33 year old woman said surprised. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Cat. I’m Samiha. And I totally listened to the music, we missed the intro. But you guys were fantastic.”

Cat had one too many drinks to up her confidence. When she was sober, she hated that she needed to get drunk or high to break the ice. But once it was over and done with she felt like she was on top of the world. Inside the club venue, the music was getting too loud. There were too many bodies she had been pressed against, dancing with, but no women she had really been interested in. But everyone was interested in her. After all, her band was world famous, and their latest single was always playing on every popular station. Even as a guitarist, she could hardly go anywhere without being recognised by someone. The small brunette had fumbled out of the club through the masses of people and out into the street, where the air was a little chilly. There was a woman standing outside also; someone who didn’t look like she was supposed to be there. ‘Oh my god, you look so out of place. Do you come here often? Do you need directions?’

Samiha had no clue how she ended up here, well that was actually a lie. She knew how, she just didn’t want to admit it. Her best friend had set up a blind date for her since she was new to the city, and her and her date had had a wonderful dinner. But once the dinner was over she invited her out for a night on the town and they wound up here. Her date vanishing inside the mass of people as they watched a band preform and leaving Samiha confused and alone. The YouTube star didn’t really mind being alone, it allowed her to film part of her vlog, but she didn’t exactly like that she had no clue where she was in the city. It was a bit unnerving. She had just finished filming part of her vlog and was putting her camera away when she hard a voice come from behind her. The older woman whipped around quickly to come face to face with one of the band members. “Oh--” She let out a little gasp, surprised to see her there. “This is actually my first time here, I’ve got no real clue where I am. I was here on a date but, my date abandoned me so now I’m just a little lost...”

Lifting a brow at the brunette’s response, Charlie ventured with a relaxed smile, “Not surprising? Are you usually the person who shares more of themselves in the relationship?” The Englishwoman smiled more at the laugh, breathing out an accompanying chuckle if only to ease the stranger. The dramatic sigh however did draw a genuine laugh from her, which she tucked into her shoulder as if bashfully - which she was not, “Unfortunate for the both of us. I would think we’re both quite the catch? Well, I can be a little too personal at times. I blame the psychologist career.” Crinkling her eyes kindly, she prompted the fellow contestant, “What is it that you do?”

A small nod and a faint somewhat sad smile accompanied her words. “Yes. I’m almost always the one who shares more of themselves--But that could be partly because I do youtube--so people already know a lot of me by the time we start dating.” She smiled. “But I also like to share more of myself than my partners.” Samiha said shrugging a bit, her eyebrows raised a moment later though when the woman mentioned her profession. “A psychologist?” She asked curiously. “That’s so cool!” She said eyes wide with curiosity. “Oh--I’m a Youtuber. I travel and make videos of my travels while interviewing people from around the world.”

“Think ye mean heart, but sure. Whatever ye say,” Shannon responded with a bit of awe in her voice. Not the kind of awe you had in front of something spectacular, but in front of something so strange you were sucked in. She knit her red brows at the brunette’s falter, noting the lack of change in her words. There wasn’t such a thing as one doctor, but the Irishwoman had realized in their brief time together there was no point in arguing. So she nodded slowly, opting for the same reply, “Whatever ye say.” Inside the house, Shannon prepped a plate for the older woman and offered it to her. She withdrew, though her movement was reluctant. Part of her wondered if the woman was a figment of her imagination. After all, only she had heard the crash, had seen everything, was talking to the brunette. So maybe she should poke her.

No, that wasn’t right. Shaking her head briefly, Shannon refocused on the other woman’s face, “Ye don’t sound like yer around from here. Where ye’re from?” Leaning against the kitchen counter, she gestured meanwhile to the nearby kitchen table, offering the stranger a seat so she could eat. The redhead pursed her lips before adding, “If ye don’t like the food, ye’re welcome to whatever’s in the fridge.”

Samiha ignored the woman trying to correct her, she was much to excited about the idea of food to care. Her stomach growled and she placed a hand on it trying to sooth it before she got some food in her mouth. She was examining the house, taking in everything she could before she was offered the food. The older woman’s eyes lit up and she took the plate, moving to sit at the breakfast bar and starting to chow down. Feeling herself gaining more energy with each bite....not that she really needed more energy. “Did you make this? It’s fantastic!”

“Where do I sound like I’m from?” She asked curiously, eyebrows raising. To her she sounded normal, but that didn’t mean much in her own mind. To anyone else the woman sounded like she had lived her live in India speaking Hindi and English. She wasn’t going to give more information away than she needed...at least not yet. “Oh no no, this is great thank you.” She said and then took another bite of the food.
