It's amazing the stuff you can collect over the years that has no real purpose or dollar value but you continue to move with anyways. Being a habitual homeless person (in the sense of never staying long enough to root down) I think some of the 'junk' I cart around from place to place holds memories of a specific time I felt at home, even if it was brief. -The jewelled frog was given to me when I still lived in New Brunswick by a friend who went to Afghanistan for a year as a civilian contractor. -The Diamond candle holder was given by my aunt in Prince George the first time I went to see her after moving to Alberta along with a bunch of other stuff for my first apartment in Calgary. -The Scull candle was from the first friend I made in Calgary who I didn't meet at work. It was awesome because we NEVER talked about scaffolding 😂 -And the hat in the back was from my dad two Christmases ago along with a Panama license plate from his epic Panama Canal crossing. Do I really need to move these things again? No, not at all. But am I going to? Absolutely. I'm starting to lose track of all the places I've lived in the last few years, but having little reminders of the people or places that mean something to me are totally worth bringing, even if sometimes they end up in storage for a while. There will probably come a day where I finally say good by to them, but not today ☺❤

Day one of.. many... for cleaning out the trailer. I thought I'd get more done but I didn't account for all these... FEELINGS.... 😥😥😥 Ahh I'm such a sap 😂😂😂 Not to mention the serious lack of food and water I failed to bring with me. So apparently summer started today? 😂 It was a good start though, and I got Poland Bear from the truck! This guy has been with me since NB in every vehicle I've had.
