Sebastian hadnāt expected that; for Sam to take his hand, turn him around, and wrap his arms around him in a tight embrace, one most sincere, especially when a heartfelt thank you fell from lips there after. This was the closest Sebastian had ever been to Sam and, fuck, he was enjoying it. Not the whole heroic thing, because thatās the last thing that he should have ever been labeled, being an undercover drug dealer and all, but he enjoyed the affection, the warmth of Samās body pressed up against him. It was a whole new world that Sebastian had always refused to experience unless he was getting an orgasm out of the deal. But here he was, with Sam, asking for nothing in return. Without realizing it, Sebastian had wrapped his arms tightly around Sam, his face resting in the crook of his neck momentarily as he basked in his scent, which he found musky, and soothing. The longer he held on to Sam, the more he wanted, no, needed to kiss him. Inhaling a deep breath, Sebastian pulled back slightly, only to put two fingers under Samās chin, gently making him gaze up and into his eyes, pools of blue on blue meeting. Sebastian hesitated again, this time as his gaze trailed down to Samās perfect lips, and before he could stop himself, heād kissed Sam, gently, once, twice, to test the waters, before kissing him a final time, this time much more passionately than before.
Never in his life had his heart raced like this in the presence of another man or woman, never had he felt desire beyond sex. And here he was, letting it flood him, engulf himā no! Abruptly, heād pulled himself back, trying to hide his panic. He was grateful, though, that in that moment, the workers had decided to come in, and notify him they were ready to do repairs on Samās flat, āGreat,ā he said breathlessly, reaching into his pocket for a wad of cash, something he definitely shouldnāt have done, especially in front of Sam, as it was a tell tale sign of someone who had dirty money. Quickly, he thrust it in the direction of the guy in the lead of the operation, and he graciously accepted, āThis is so youāll get it done as soon as possible so he has his things up and running,ā he concluded. As much as he wanted to look at Sam, take him out as he had planned, he couldnāt now. Not when he was this confused; this scared. Without even looking back, he escaped through the door to Samās flat, got into his car, and sped away.
