how I personally fix this is Russian Empire is Russia. She is also USSR.

in my AU, a country becomes a new one either by dying and having their “child” (haven’t fully figured out that yet. Maybe it’s social maybe it’s biological) replace them, splitting or otherwise being governmentally transformed, or persona switching. A persona swap is what Russia has, twice. They are mostly different people. They retain core memories (like wars and culture, because those will affect a society even as it moves on) and they retain physical age. Appearance can drastically shift, and usually they have different psychology. Russian Empire was a meek teenager, and USSR was a blunt woman in her 20s.

50 years is much less than 250. And also the Russian empire is a bit odd because it’s kinda been there since like the 1200s(?), but under different people and names and things, so I’m gonna dig into that soon enough.

anyway! Compounding age like this means they’re both around the same actual age. How do I age them physically? Whimsy. I don’t take this too serious, they’re fun little characters. My only goal is to not be racist <3

Epic!! For the sake of my family theory and age formula to make sense, I see Russia as a sort of single-nation family, countries being like different versions of the same person across different eras and time zones. I’d say a country becomes a "new person" when it fully transforms, like changing its name, government, identity, or overall system.

America doesn’t really count as a single-nation family in this sense since he mostly just adds stars to its flag over time. I also see it as part of the broader English-speaking family, alongside countries like the UK, Canada, and others. That's why I age him at around 250.

HELLOOO it's Sam again with another pointless and totally not-making-sense theory. I had this one when I joined the fandom back in 2017.

A lot of people (of which I know of) think countryhumans are.. "Immortal." Or "Invincible" I think not. Countryhumans are a personified version of the country they represent, like a representative or leader of a country which are resistant outside, but true death comes to the inside. There are two types:

1. Internal conflicts resulting to the actual country, leading to the physical death of it's personification (i.e. Rebellions, total collapse, etc etc)

2. Countryhumans CAN and WILL regenerate fast, but not fast enough if you overwhelm the body's head or vital organs with sheer force

The internal death of the actual country results to the death of the countryhuman,

But killing the countryhuman doesn't kill the country.

In summary, I believe that countryhumans are:

A. Not immortal and can die

B. If the country dies, the countryhuman dies.

C. If the countryhuman dies, it doesn't mean the country dies aswell.

Side note: Countryhumans fighting doesn't represent "war" as I've said, I believe that countryhumans are just personified representatives or leaders of their country.

Hi it's Sam, with another pointless theory about my fandom Countryhumans. Today we'll be finding out how countries age, and how to convert them into actual human years.

In the Countryhumans universe, countries don’t age the same way humans do. They grow quickly in their early years, then their physical aging slows down a lot. Regime changes don’t reset their age if the national identity continues—the country is treated as the same being evolving over time. This keeps the system consistent with the Single-Nation Family idea, where different historical versions are phases of the same “person,” not separate siblings.

First, you choose the country’s true starting point. This is when the national identity or continuous state actually begins. For example, Modern Germany would start at 1990 because of the unification of West Germany and East Germany.

Second, calculate the total country age:

Country Age = Current Year − Starting Year

Then convert it into human age using a slowed growth model that I made and researched about.

If the country is 20 years old or younger:

Human Age = Country Age × 0.8

If the country is older than 20 years:

Human Age = 16 + (Country Age ÷ 20)

This means countries grow fast early on, but aging slows heavily after they reach early adulthood.

Finally, apply a physical cap:

Maximum Physical Age = 35

If the formula gives a number higher than 35, the country stays at 35 physically. After that point, only mental maturity, experience, and historical trauma increase, not physical age.

So in short:

Countries age quickly at first.

Aging slows after 20 years.

Physical appearance caps at 35.

National identity continues unless fully replaced.

This keeps young countries from being toddlers, old civilizations from being fossils, and it stays consistent with the family structure theory that I previously made.

Note that this theory is not canon, because I've seen some old ahh fossils (Russian Empire, Japan, etc) look like people in their 30s. There are some people that depict countryhumans as their real age, like America as a deadbeat dad or Japan looking like Sensei Wu. Other than that, this theory is just for the funzies, nothing else.

Hi guys, it's me, Sam, new to tumblr, a hardcore countryhumans fan (can't even draw btw) and a guy with a lot of thoughts. I aim to dissect and give you guys an interpretation of how the Countryhuman world works.

I try to make my theories make as much sense as possible, so here's what I came up with. I noticed there are a lot of families in the Countryhuman fandom, such as the English Family, German family, Filipino family, etc. I noticed only two types of families.

First is the multi-nation family. That’s when different countries are in one family because they’re connected by history, usually colonization or shared culture. Like England being the “parent,” and then United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand as the “kids.” They’re separate countries, but they came from the same origin.

Second is the single-nation family. That’s when it’s just one country, but different versions of it. Like different historical eras being family members. For example, Russian Empire, Soviet Union, and modern Russia would all be in one family because they’re basically the same nation across time. Same with German Empire and modern Germany.

So yeah.

Multi-nation = different countries, same roots.

Single-nation = same country, different eras and personifications.

Simple but lowkey makes the whole universe make sense, I guess.
