Summer grinned the entire time Sky spoke, and took her own turn hugging Sky tight and giving him a gentle kiss to his head. “I’m so happy for you, Sunshine.” She said. “I can’t wait to meet him, you’re going to let us meet him, right?”

Sky didn’t care that people were looking. He was just so happy. Nothing actually felt as real and as important until he shared it with his family. “Oh yes… yes. I want him to meet you and he wants to meet you all because I talk about you all the time. Also he’s shy to meet Blaine on account of he saw him in the play and is like a super big fan. I think.. I think he’s going to be part of our family.” Things were very new, but just like both Summer and Sam had told him over the years, when he fell in love with the right person he’d know about it. “Our family is growing and growing ain’t it?”

“We’ll definitely have to set that up. His brother is his Dom, right? So it might be easier if me and Summer flew out to you guys,” Sam suggested, and then smiled. “I bet you’d win big brownie points if you took home a signed head shot from Blaine,” Sam grinned. He kissed Sky’s cheek, and sat back down. “Part of the family, huh? Am I hearing wedding bells?”

Blaine frowned, “I know. You’re going to take his side and tell me we should move south. No matter how much I try to argue it’s going to happen anyway so i better make my peace with it now.” He sighed and turned back to the book he was reading.

Blaine chewed his lip, “I don’t know, Master. I thought that house would be perfect… its huge, the yard is huge. It even has a dog door for Marvel. I thought it was the answer… Sir Nate wants more space, and not to feel so cramped. We all want that. I’m not denying we need more space for our family. But I’m asking a lot of him to stay in New York and he’s asking a lot of me to leave it. I don’t know if there’s a solution out there that’ll make us both equally happy.” Blaine was quiet for a moment. “Maybe the solution is to move to Canada where winter is unbearably cold and there’s no theatre at all so we’re equally miserable.”

“I’ve seen it. It’s a beautiful house, and we should definitely all talk about putting an offer on it, if we’re staying in New York,” Sam said, sighing. “The facts are, Nate doesn’t even want me talking to you about this. He wants to be the one who continues to sacrifice for our family, and I love him for that. But it’s not fair, sweetheart, and I know you understand that.”

It was a wonder to Sky that Sir Nate still wouldn’t eat anything that was a vegetable no matter how yummy they were. He didn’t like a lot of fancy healthy food like his Sir did, but he still ate way more veggies than Nate. He felt warmed to his heart by his sibings excitement. “He… he… he’s just so perfect. Umm… oh…” He shook his hands in front of his face to calm himself so he could answer their questions. “His name is Horatio. He’s a submissive and he goes to the same church as me and he’s sooo super shy. He does computers and works at his brother’s company. Oh and guess what? He’s like me! He’s asexual and his brother claimed him on account of his brother is asexual too and aromantic and he loved his brother and wanted to keep him safe like how you was gonna do for me. He’s kind and sweet and quiet and sooo smart. I think maybe I really love him lots.” He chewed on his lip and looked down, realizing he’d not really told anyone else that.

Sam’s full attention was on Sky as his brother told them his news. He loved seeing how excited Sky was, and the incredibly sweet way Sky talked about Horatio was very endearing. “Dude!” Sam grinned, standing up so he could move over to Sky and hug his brother tight. “You had a kiss, and you’re in love? I’m so happy for you!” Sam exclaimed loudly, not caring at all that he’d made people look over at them.

Blaine sighed, and closed the book. “Okay, so let’s say we move south. Every one of you gets to move your careers there. Silas can cast from anywhere, Ryan can record music from anywhere, Nate can teach anywhere, Buck can be a paramedic anywhere, and you can get a job at any mental health clinic you want. I’m the only one who’s career is location dependent, I would have to start all over, lose everything I’ve spent the last ten years building up and find something completely different. How is that fair?” He asked.

Sam took a deep breath and sat on the edge of the bed. “That’s not fair, but nobody is asking you to do that so I need you to stop leaping to that,” Sam said, as he looked over at his submissive. “There are other options now. We could move somewhere down south that’s only a couple of hours away by plane. We’ve all spent longer than that in New York traffic before. You could travel back and forth for shows, with me, or Buck, or even all of us for the big shows,” Sam suggested.

Blaine tensed, and sighed. “I don’t want to spend my whole life on a plane, either… that would mean being away for weeks at a time too. Which means I’d miss everything to do with the babies. And then being in New York would mean being away from you, and everyone. I can’t do that, Sir. It’s stay in New York with the family or we all move and I just… find a way to be okay with it.”

“Okay, well, we’ve got a lot of incomes coming in, and some real money saved away. Maybe the answer is a second home, or something,” Sam said, sighing softly. “Or, I know Broadway is...the big thing, but is there anything, anywhere else? You’re a Tony award winner, you’ve got choices now you didn’t have before.”
