i had too much fun with this one! a double drabble with some surprise guests ;)

Mary came for tea today. I regaled her with stories of Stonecrop while showing off my spoils. The four butterflies, mounted by my own hands, and framed, courtesy of Islington, were reminiscent of jewels. Mary said as much, commenting on the way their wings glittered as they caught the light. I knew she was avoiding the issue of her Professor for how resolutely she refused to even broach the topic, pursing her lips when I mentioned his book. I suggested we take a turn about St. Crispian's as a distraction, the July afternoon proving unseasonably cool, and thus suitable for walking. Mary agreed. Our walk was largely uneventful, that is, until we reached the end of the Diagonal. There, spilling out of the Cleopatra, and considerably inebriated for the time of day, were the Reprobates Ten! Spotting me on the other side of the street, they began a rousing chorus of a song I have come to know quite well, if not also by accident. “Emma,” Mary began, turning to me with a grin I had not seen since our Fortitude days, “Is that drinking song about you?” “Yes, yes it is.” I shall have to teach it to her.

decided to start taking detailed notes on emma m lion! i'll be creating both super simple and slightly more detailed timelines of all the books, recording my favorite quotes, recording details on setting and characters, and anything else i end up most interested in. generally i'm focusing on the timeline so that i can easily reference what chapter/date bigger (or my favorite) things happen. i'll skim through books 1-3 first and record 4-8 a bit more diligently because i'm wrapping up volume 3 for the second time rn lol.

basically posting about this because i'll one, share these documents should there be interest, and two, to see if anyone has anything that they'd be curious to have recorded across the books!! :)))

aghhh exam season T_T what a nightmare blehhhh though i hope its not too too bad!!! glad that there's only two left!! you most certainly can make it!!! i wish you lots of luck on those last two exams and on results for everything.

i'm well though!! my internship for the summer is going really great and i think will set me up really well for continuing on once its over. having some bumps in the road when it comes to housing/apartments but i think it'll work out :))

HELLOOOO I'M HEREEEE how are you???

I’m so fucking eepy I just got rudely awoken by maintenance because they had to do like. Unit inspection or some shit. Literally all they had to do was take a picture of my kitchen and bathroom. And the dude was like “do you work nights?” (Because it’s almost 1pm and I was still asleep) and I said “no, I’m just chronically ill.” 💀💀

So now I will return back to bed and sleep more bc I’m unemployed and went to bed at 5am kkkkk
