The thing about not liking evil dead without bruce: I do NOT want bruce to return to the series. He has said he is too old and doesn't want to do that, I would never want him to be forced to do something he didn't want to do for the fans. I hope we will get the animated series where at least he can voice act, because there was some news about that going on for years but I have no idea if it's happening or not. The main issue with newer Evil Dead movies (specifically talking about the 2013 movie, which funnily enough bruce DID appear at the end for) is that they want to focus too much on gross out gore without anything that made the original films charming. You have to think about the fact that Sam Raimi didn't even have a passion for horror, he had a passion for slapstick and making three stooges esc films with his friends. Evil Dead as a whole was never meant to be a totally serious gross out film without any comedy. Evil Dead II feels so much closer in tone to what Sam would have wanted to make in the first place, and it's a great horror/comedy. The modern evil dead films are losing the campy comedy of evil dead and it annoys me. And I am saying that while also thinking the first film has some of my favorite gore effects ever done on a small budget. The new trailer is this washed out grey mess without a single laugh in sight....where is our evil dead silly comedy!!!!!!

Donna Noble would not only survive an Evil Dead movie but would go on to become a deadite killer on par with Ashley J. Williams himself.
Ten would die immediately because he would read from the necronomicon and then go investigate that strange noise in the cellar.
