Sam waking Dean up by peppering little kisses all over his face, barely there kisses, feather like kisses, that make Dean scrunch his nose because it tickles and he loves Sam, he does, but some mornings he just wants to sleep just a little more so he blindly tries to make Sam stop and once he feels his brother’s head between his arms, he tightens his hold and keeps Sam right where he is, with his face stuck against Dean’s cheek, and Dean is this close to falling back asleep when Sam sticks his tongue out and licks Dean’s entire cheek.

So, what’s it all add up to? It’s hard to say. But me, I’d say this was a test… for Sam and Dean. And I think they did all right. Up against good, evil, angels, devils, destiny, and God himself, they made their own choice. They chose family. And, well… isn’t that kinda the whole point?
