Mammon’s Crows

Introduces you to his small flock of trusted crows one day after realizing he wouldn’t be able to watch you when you went into town. Because he wanted to make sure Satan didn’t do anything funny, or something.

The four black birds were excited to see you for the first time in person. Immediately they brought you something shiny as a gift. A pebble, bottle cap, even a small marble.

“Yeah they know some words which is weird. But I guess it’s from talkin to them so much.” Mammon scratched the back of his head. “But they just put random words together...”

You were so excited when you heard one of them actually say your name. And the others that followed.

“Awwwwe, they know my name. You talk about me that much?” It was difficult not to tease him.

“WHA-!? N-no!” But he was quickly proven wrong when the four crows spoke so clearly.

“MC!”

“Is!”

“So!”

“Cute!”

“MC is so cute!” The four birds put their sentences together before flying off as quickly as possible. Sure that Mammon would scold them later.

“Ya jerk birds aren’t crows!! Yer chickens!!!”
