Samuel hummed as he walked, his arms tucked behind his back. He smiled softly and gave out a relaxed sigh. Looking around, he perked slightly as he saw a familiar flash of purple hair on the street. He waved towards the person walking towards him and called out, "why, hello, Moon! It's a pleasure to see you here."
Moon perked up and engulfed Samuel in a hug. He beamed brightly. “Sâlut, Samuel! Ça va?”
“I had put the paint away. I knew you’d be looking for better dye,” Samuel smiled.
“Ah… I was wondering what had happened.” He shook his head lightly. “Anyways… uh Daniel, what do you do?”
Daniel took a sip of his team and hummed, “well… I manage the family’s money, I suppose. Someone has to do it, after all.” Samuel looked away slightly and quietly took a sip of his tea.
Moon coughed. “That is important…” He quietly said the next part more to himself. “Must be nice to be somewhat involved with family…”
Daniel sighed softly, “you would think so. I uh… tend to avoid our mother. I only speak with her if I have too… Samuel is the only family member I really talk too.”
“I understand I just… nevermind.” Moon held the cup close to his face. “I apologize.”
“No need to apologize,” Daniel smiled softly. “You didn’t know.”
Moon remained silent, the conversation had taken an awkward turn.
Samuel thought for a moment before looking to Moon, “hey uh… didn’t you bring some treats? Perhaps Daniel could try some?”
“Oh! Right…” He took out the treats from his bag and handed them to Daniel. “I-I made them myself. I always carry around treats with me…”
Daniel smiled, “thank you,” he said before he took a small bite of the pastry. He hummed loudly, swallowing before speaking, “This was amazing! You’re a wonderful cook, Moon.”
