Who plays? What do they do?
3) Defensemen: the dream team
☆The two defensemen play like the winger on the left and right of the ice. Their main task is to protect their own goal from attacks by the opposing team and to get the puck for their own team.
Like the other skaters on the, the two defenders take on different tasks. If their own team starts an attack, the defenders do not hesitate and chase after them to support their team-mates in front of the opposing goal.
At the same time they must not leave any gaps in the defense and must be back by their own goal area quickly so that the opponent cannot take advantage of their absence. It is essential for the defenders be in the right place at the right time.
The two defensemen often act as a well-rehearsed couple on the ice. While the three forwards are mixed in the substitutions during the course of the game, the two defenders are usually tactically closely coordinated and know the peculiarities of their partner. It can be challenging when two defenders play together for the first time in a match.
This is what a defensemen does:
☆Defend against opponent's attacks
☆Stop passes
☆Gain possession of puck
☆Control game, if opposing team is in possession of puck
☆Control opponent
☆Clear rebounds from own crease
☆Pass puck to attackers
☆Support forwards in their attack
☆Work closely with other defender
☆Coordinate with team members
☆Make quick decisions
☆Bring the puck out from your own zone

2) Winger: The nimble
★The left and right wingers are at the center's side. They support the center and score goals.
Wingers are attackers in hockey, but also know how to defend the puck.
The forwards playing on the left or right side of the ice and are referred to as the left winger and right winger. This means that the right wing forward plays primarily on the right side of the field, the left wing forward on the left. They provide the center with passes that allow him to score goals.

Just a reminder,
It’s okay to be upset or sad sometimes little one! Never punish yourself for being sad or upset or having any feelings that aren’t always the greatest! Feelings are so so good because it means your body is telling you different things based on events in your life. It sounds confusing, but all you need to know is that it’s okay to be sad sometimes, or frustrated with something. Even if there is no reason, it’s okay sweetheart. Just snuggle up in bed and maybe turn on a show or take a nap, and I am always here if anyone needs to vent or talk or just wants to say hi! <3

i know you're not feeling so good right now, bubba understands. i might not know exactly what you're dealing with, but i do know this: you've survived 100% of the scary things in your life, and you will survive this too.
it's okay to be scared, sad, anxious, angry, any and everything else. you're human. i need you to know that whatever you're feeling is valid and it won't last forever, 'kay? hmmm.. wanna know what helps bubba feel better when he's not feeling so good?
big bro has OCD and struggles with rumination (repeated distressing thoughts). what helps me is to imagine all those upsetting thoughts as someone else's food in a restaurant.. ↓
you know you ordered something, so you're waiting for the server to bring it to you. you see them pass by with a plate of food, but they bring it to another table. another server does the same. you know it's there, it exists around you, but it doesn't belong to you. let them pass by, take a breath, and remind yourself that you don't need to engage with every plate (or thought) that crosses your path.
another thing that helps bubba feel better is practicing gratitude. if you're comfortable, reblog this post with 3-5 things (in tags) that you're grateful for. i'll start in my own tags.

Sweet little baby dozzing off after running around all afternoon, their bell full of yummy foodie and their carer playing with their hair and soothing them because their small ball of joy has been having nightmares the past few days and they would gove anything to be able to hopp into their dreams and fight those bad monsters(because not all monsters are bad) with their hockey stick(or bare hands haha).
