Hi!

Just a quick update, if anyone cares. But a few months ago I found myself in a very dark place, mentally, and I decided the best thing for me would be to leave Tumblr and step back from everything to do with writing. I am doing a little better, but I am still not in a place where I am able to run any challenges or where I can write again. Mentally I am struggling, and therefor I am going to stay on this break from writing and running challenges. My apologies for anyone interested in the challenges!!

I have had a few requests over the years to reupload my older stories that I took off AO3. Some of them are gone and deleted, but a few of them I will make available to read again. I had these plans to rewrite and rework a ton of them, but clearly I am not in a place where I am capable of rewriting or reworking anything, so for now I will just make some of the older fics available for reading again.

My apologies about the challenges again!! And happy holidays to anyone celebrating!!

Wolfstar Drabble : The Flashing Lights

Pairing : Sirius Black / Remus Lupin

Sirius comforts Remus when he has another one of his migraines.

Sirius came over to the Lupin house today to hang out and maybe listen to some music with Remus. But before they could even pick out a record to listen to, Remus had started shivering. The world had started to blur, and within moments, he had lost the ability to speak. He had tried his best to hide what was happening, but Sirius knew him far too well to fall for it.

Remus was unable to speak, but from the panic in his eyes, Sirius could understand that he was begging him not to go downstairs to tell his parents. Because they would force Remus to take his medication. They always mean well, but the pills don’t help. They just make him feel even worse - impossible as it may seem to feel worse than he already does whenever he has one of his migraines.

Sirius has seen these attacks happen too many times already, and it breaks his heart all over again each time, because he feels helpless. He can’t do anything to make Remus better - he can’t take the pain from him and make it hurt any less. But he knows that there is something he can do, and that is to just be there with him.

Remus can no longer form words, and lights are flashing before his eyes. But when he feels Sirius take his hand, he trusts to follow him. They lie down in bed, and despite the headache that is already starting to come on, Remus can’t help but smile when he feels Sirius curling up against him and wrapping an arm around him to pull him close. For just a moment, he feels better. For just a moment, he feels safe.

He closes his eyes, and when he does, he can picture Sirius’ arms around him for the rest of their lives. He can picture them growing old together. They would be happy. But when Remus opens his eyes again, the flashing lights are getting brighter, and the world is nothing more than a blur. He knows that more pain is coming, and it’s making that future with Sirius seem like nothing but a dream. He is convinced that he won’t live to see it coming true, because what if this is it? What if the pain never ends? What if he will have to end it himself?

🧡 Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever Challenge 2024 | Rules & Information 🧡

We are back with another round of the Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever Challenge! 🧡

We had our first round of Never Haver I Ever back in 2022, and works created for that round can be found here.

This July we have a challenge that is all about challenging yourself to do something you have never done before. This is a Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge event, and anyone is welcome to join! 

Here’s how it works :

- The goal is to challenge yourself to do something you have never done before. For example, write for a pairing you’ve not written for before, or use a character you’ve not used before. Perhaps use a trope you’re not familiar with? Maybe you’ve always wanted to try to write Harry Potter poetry, but never done it before? Or you’ve never made a moodboard before? Let this challenge be the motivation to give it a try!

- There will be eight different challenges. This challenge list is meant as inspiration, and you can give any of them (or all of them) a go. But if you’ve been wanting to try something else out for a while and haven’t done so yet, feel free to use the Never Have I Ever challenge to finally give it a go!

- There will be eight new prompts that you can use as inspiration. As this is a Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge event, you will have to use at least one of our prompts in your work. You can use one of these eight new prompts, or you can use one of our previous prompts. Part 1 | Part 2

The schedule : 

13 June : Challenges & Prompts are released 1 July : The AO3 Collection opens to Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever works 31 July : The AO3 Collection closes to Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever works

Every four days - starting on the 1st of July - I will post a reminder of one of the challenges and prompts. But challenges can be done at any time of the month, as long as your work is completed by the 31st of July.

Just a few simple rules & guidelines for this challenge :

- For your work to be accepted for this challenge it will have to include two things : Something you have not done / written / created before + A Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge prompt. This can either be one of the eight new prompts, or one of our previous prompts. Part 1 | Part 2

- Both fics and art are welcome for this challenge. There is no minimum or maximum word count, and all forms of art (moodboard, drawing, fan video etc.) are welcome.

- This is a Harry Potter challenge, and all pairings are allowed, as long as they include at least one character from the book / movie. This includes Rare Pairs, Next Gen, Cross Gen and characters from connected canon such as Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts.

- All works posted to the AO3 Collection will be shared to the Tumblr page. Please give it up to 48 hours for me to share your work to Tumblr. If it hasn’t been shared after that time, there’s a chance I have missed it. Then feel free to send me a message to remind me to share it. The AO3 Collection will be the same as the one for the Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge, but works for this event will only be accepted between the 1st of July and the 31st of July. After that, the challenge is over and the AO3 Collection is only open to Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge works again.

- Drabbles / fics will be shared with a post with information and a link to your work. If you create art for the challenge and you tag the page, I will reblog your art, but as tagging doesn’t always work, please send me a message if your art hasn’t been reblogged after 48 hours.

- Works for this challenge have to be new. Older works that fit the prompt will not be accepted into the AO3 collection or shared to the Tumblr page.

- All pairings, ratings and genres are allowed, but please make sure to add the correct tags, and please post a warning if your work is NSFW, or if it contains upsetting themes or possible triggers.

✨ Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge | Rules ✨

The Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge is here!

The Challenge :

- Twice a month I will post a prompt, and the goal is to write a Harry Potter drabble or create a piece of Harry Potter art inspired by that prompt. You can interpret the prompt any way you like! The goal is just to get inspired and create more drabbles and art. It’s open to all pairings, so maybe use a prompt to experiment with new pairings? New writing or art styles? There are no real big rules, so just have fun with it! 

- On every 1st of the month a prompt will be posted on the Tumblr page that is either a word, a quote or a sentence. On every 16th of the month a prompt will be posted that is either a song lyric, a piece of art or a photo. The goal of the challenge is to write a drabble or create a piece of art based on that prompt. You can interpret the prompt any way you like.

- For each prompt there will be an optional word count, and an optional deadline. The prompt you must use in your work, and if you like the challenge, you can choose to stick to the word count and deadline for that prompt. The prompt you must use in your work, the word count and deadline are optional.

- All forms of art (drawing, moodboard, fanvid etc.) are welcome!

- You can submit a prompt by sending me a message or an (anonymous) ask. If you submit a prompt, please let me know if you like to be credited for the prompt or if you wish to remain anyonymous. And if you submit a work of art or a photo prompt, please don’t forget to credit the artist.

Hi!

I haven't checked in here for a while, and I'm still taking a break from Tumblr. But after almost a year of being away from the HP fandom, I decided to finally try to write something again. It's a fic for @slythindor100 25 Days of Draco and Harry, so there'll be 25 chapters and hopefully daily updates for it.
