My version of Julius has had several interpretations as well as roles in the history of the universe, from being a version before Cartoon Cat to being a villain.
But as I learned more about the cat, my interpretations of him changed until this recent version
Julius the Cat was one of Walt Disney's first creations, his first child. Julius appeared mostly in his father's Alice Comedies shorts, where he became friends with the four actresses who starred in them.
Julius was known for being a determined, curious, jokey but honest young toon, friendly and, although it may not seem like it, very, very patient.
Several years passed until the last of the Alices retired, and Julius decided to become independent from his father after discovering that he no longer had much to offer the entertainment world.
At that time, toons weren't usually seen in work environments outside of entertainment so Julius worked in local theaters, but he occasionally visited the ex-actresses of Alice Comedies where he served more as a butler for them. But as the years passed, Julius witnessed the passing of his sisters, which unfortunately caused him depression and he slowly was forgotten.
Julius, however, had money saved, a lot of it, but he didn't see living at home as appropriate; he felt trapped being alone in a big house. In fact, Yen Sid had even offered him a trip to the Wasteland but he refused, so instead of staying in Toontown (where at this point, the forgotten toons could not enter or interact) he decided to stay in the human world where he could stay without any problems.
So Julius got used to life on the streets. But it wasn't as bad as it seemed; for Julius, he felt free to escape the materialism, the entertainment, and the chaotic energy of Toontown, Thus, he embraced his life as a street cat and independent. His favorite places to sleep are on rooftops, and he never stays in one place for long; occasionally, he uses his money to buy himself a habit.
Julius hasn't gotten over the death of his sisters; he still has things to work on within himself, but he's still the same cat he always was.
And just in case there was any doubt, Felix is the only one who knows of Julius's existence, since, due to their resemblance, Felix had some controversy surrounding Julius's behavior, which later led them to become friends
But Felix doesn't know who Julius was, and Julius isn't interested in telling him, so neither of them brings up the subject.
And no, Oswald, Mickey, and Amelia don't know about Julius, but he knows about them; he just doesn't make the effort to contact them.
But he does sometimes ask for money outside Disney parks JAJSHSHS
