seeing people forget central asians, even on posts saying to remember asians outside of east asians, hurts differently.
so this post is specifically central asian centered only because we're tired of not having any post dedicated to us. dont derail or start talking about non-central asian topics on this post.
everywhere we look on this platform on tumblr, there is a shocking lack of community and posts for or about central asians. majority content is just images of the beautiful landscapes that make up the territories within central asia. but its not enough! we wanna see more things about central asians, even if its just verbally included.
as far as we know we're the only ones -besides another awesome person we seen make flags out of one of our templates- whos bothered to try making any central asian centered mogai. and in the future we may make more when we get the ideas for it. but we dont even see any mogai posts centering central asians in the mogai community (which is a community we're largely apart of and makes up a good portion of our identity because we're xenine)
we've even thought, we may be missing something. is "central asian" just not what its called? we have east asians, southeast asians, southwest asians, and more, but is 'central asian' wrong?
maybe theres just that much of a lack of community for people like us on here. even more so a struggle for us, since we're not human and struggle to connect to human cultures and labels -and we are also very picky and choosey about it when we decide so-.
where are all the central asians? where is all the conversations about central asians? where is it?
