Hey there! Found you through our main peep that runs the lov head canon blog! Was wondering if you had any head canons for my boys Spinner and Shigaraki and what they’re like when they’re tired? Much appreciated!
Hi! Thanks for dropping by:) @kimitanakauniverse
- Spinner strikes me as someone who becomes more quiet and temperamental when he’s tired. He’s not prone to outbursts, but it’s much easier to annoy him. In times like this, he’s just ready to get a task done and then find a place where he can rest.
- When he’s tired he’s easier to talk into doing things he wouldn’t normally do. For example, Toga or Magne might convince him to buy them snacks or Dabi might be able to get away with more back handed remarks than he usually would.
- I wouldn’t say his senses are dulled too much, but if he’s in a stressful situation, there’s a steady panic that can rise in him that may cause him to slip up quite a few times. He might confuse directions or estimates an attack’s projection inaccurately. He gets better at working on auto pilot as time goes on.
- He generally keeps to a schedule, so regardless of how tired he may be, his internal clock won’t let him sleep. He relies on distractions to pass the time. If he’s not on a mission for the league, he may plug into a podcast or audiobook. He likes to be left alone because the mental anguish of being around the more rowdy members of the league can quickly exhaust him, especially since he’s already tired.
- This man is in a constant state of exhaustion. It’s simply a matter of him being even more tired than usual. As we’ve seen in recent chapters, when he has a set objective, he is willing to pass on activities that are redundant at the time.
- When tired, he’s much more irritable and less logical in the moment, especially if angered or upset. He wants to finish his tasks with little to no interference and will do anything in his power to do so.
- His senses become much more sharp the tired he is. In a sense, it may have something to do with his stubborn resolve and adamancy to “complete the level”. He is also much more ruthless when in comes to obstacles in his way.
- When he’s tired in a more normal sense (not from staying up for months), he might be tempted to take melatonin if he can’t sleep or is restless. He only does this once in a while when it gets really bad.
- When he is finally able to rest, he’s still hyper aware of his surroundings. I imagine he’s a light sleeper and without white noise, it’s difficult to sleep. Having an unconventional living situation also adds fuel to this fire because there’s always unpredictable hinderances and loud noises that shock him awake.
