You're getting Canon Kim and Harry this time, but if someone sends me another (without specifying) I'll probably do Swap AU stuff!

1. It's not just Harry who's in love with Kim - it's Harry's Skills.

Whether they're something that occurred because of Pale Exposure or a symptom of something else, they're a part of him. His Skills are how he experiences the world. It's just as much them romancing Kim as it is him.

So when Harry falls in love, every Skill falls hard and fast, too. The INT Skills, particularly Logic, are taken with Kim's mind. The PSY Skills admire his dedication (to his passions, to the RCM, to his partner), and Volition is relieved that they've been drawn to such an (outwardly) stable force.

The FYS skills got it bad - Shivers sees how Kim fits into Revachol's greater puzzle like a missing piece. Electrochemistry has... a lot to say.

But the MOT Skills? Oh god. They're obsessed. Kim is cool, calm, and collected. He loves machines. Even with his eyesight, he's still a damn good shot. He's so suave. They. Want. Him. So. Bad.

At the end of the day, Kim is romancing one person in 25 parts. It's all-encompassing, and at first, it's strange. But after a time, he can't imagine being loved another way

2. Kim didn't expect Harry to stay interested in him.

Look, I can't picture Harry as anything other than a scatterbrain. It's partly because of my scatterbrained way of playing the damn game, but it's my headcanon, and I'll cry if I want to.

So, when they first met, Kim watched Harry flit around Martinaise like a speed fuelled (or until-recently-speed-fueled) bumblebee. He buzzes around, finds something, pursues it for a while, then sets it down and forgets. Kim watches Harry blow past his old partner without a word and worries that he might be in Jean's place one day.

Well, almost Jean's position. Maybe a worse one. It's not a stretch to imagine Harry getting distracted or bored of Kim. But this is the happiest he's felt in a long time, so he decides to ride it out. Take the joy where he can. He'll deal with the hurt when it comes.

But then Harry doesn't get bored of him. Instead, he wants more. And more. And more.

And then Harry stays over at Kim's place on weekends.

And they're investing in more board games. And Harry knows just the way Kim likes his coffee. And he makes dinner whenever he comes over. And, oh, Harry's lease is almost up, so he might as well move in. And he buys posters and photos to hang up. And he paints "This Is Something Beautiful" on their bedroom wall. And Kim knows he won't get his deposit back, but he doesn't fucking care.

And then it's been a year, and Harry has some of his old memories back, but mostly he's been making new ones. And anyone who matters to them knows what's happening, but no one says a word. And they don't hold hands in public, but the look Harry gives Kim lets him know how badly he wants to. 

And then it's been a few more years, and they move to a different apartment. And the heaters don't work, but that's okay because they keep each other warm in the winter. And Harry holds Kim close as they dance in the kitchen. And Kim's vision is getting worse, and Harry's got a bad heart, but they live the best lives they can. And they plan a wedding that they know they'll probably never have.

And Kim pretends he doesn't hear the city as she speaks into his heart.

And Harry pretends he doesn't hear Kim cry when he realizes they can't stop what's coming.

And then it's been so many years that their grey hairs outnumber all the others. And Harry doesn't talk about La Retour, but Kim sees how much he thinks about it. And he holds Harry's hand in public because it feels like the world is ending anyways. And the corners of Harry's eyes crinkle when he smiles, and it still makes Kim's heart swim even after so many years. And Harry still sees a halo behind Kim's head.

And they dance between detritus and rubble as an old radio plays. And they remember their kitchen. And they say the names of old friends. And far away, someone smiles and says theirs.

And La Revacholiere holds them in her broken arms and cries. And they hold her in their lungs. And they cry with her because of their loss. And they cry with her because they've survived.

And they love.

And they love.

And they love.

nothing to do with your writing but your skin looks so healthy 😍 ... what's the secret

OK, I'm literally going to cry because I've been struggling with cystic and hormonal acne since 2020! And every since then I feel so self-conscious about my skin and have just recently (maybe close to a year now) haven't had any cystic type breakouts. I'll post my products & pics at the end, no one has seen these pictures btw because I just feel so embarrassed! I only took them for my doctor! But anywho, here's what's been working for me the past couple years!

Consistency is key! I never miss my cleansing/skin care routine. No matter how tired, drunk, upset I am. I do it. With that being said, a simple routine will help you commit to it:)

African Black Soap - when I first started using this I bought that "fake" one from target. I believe shea moisture makes it? But literally after a month or so I started to see a big reduction in my break outs. I recently switched over to the authentic one. I literally bought it in a little natural remedies shop in the DTLA Alley outlets district for $10. The only advice I was given was to not apply the soap directly on my skin. So I use a little cleaning tool instead of my hands (which is how i used the target one)

Double cleansing - According to the internet derms this is a scam, but I personally started to notice the biggest change in my skin when I stopped using makeup wipes and started to double cleanse with a makeup balm. I wear full face makeup every single day basically and balms are by far the best way to get it all off. I rinse the balm off with luke warm water, cleanse with my soap, and then rinse with cold water. Cold water rinsing is also life changing.

Derma-planing & exfoliating! I certainly used to over exfoliate before, maybe did this like once a week with a face scrub. Now I've minimized this to about a once a month thing. I'll gently exfoliate with a little face sponge & my soap & then derma-plane with the suds still on my skin.

Face Masking - These masks changed my life. I will only use hydration sheet masks from a Japanese brand (2x a month) and then if I start getting breakouts really frequently I use a Lush mask called cosmetic warrior once every night for about 10 days.

Water & veggies - this is pretty self explanatory. But increasing my water and vegetable intake has also helped give my skin the nutrients it needs to stay healthy.

Better hygiene habits - I've gotten into the habit of washing my pillow cases every week. And am trying to implement more frequent makeup tool washes. Right now I clean my beauty blender after each use, but my brushes about once a month, which I'm not sure if that's too little lol, but I feel like I could do it more haha

No scented products - I've found that scented products irritate my skin a lot. Even if they didn't they have tons of additional chemicals that don't serve a purpose, so better to keep it bland.

And lastly, it's important to remember that everyone's skin is different. Medicated things & pills didn't work for me in the slightest like they do for some people. And there was a lot of trial and error and mixing and match products before I found a routine that worked and helped my skin heal. So just pay attention to how your skin reacts to things and do a little research on what type of acne you have and what products can help with that:) Now products I use...

Now, this was me in 2021... It was painful and uncomfortable and just so shameful for me. I had never had acne before! I got acne as an adult after they switch my BC:(

And this is me as of tonight! Obvs I'll still get spots every now and again but I haven't gotten anything like the pics above since I made the changes to my skincare routine:)

Which character do you hate the most and why?

Oh, wow, this is a tough one. It’s kind of hard to answer this without risking people taking me the wrong way, but here I go. Thanks for the ask, it really got me thinking. @chisanluv​

I wouldn’t say there’s necessarily any characters I hate. There are certainly characters who do things that make me uncomfortable or feel some type of way about. 

Characters like Mineta give me bad vibes, but I’ve come to accept that in Japanese media it’s inevitable that you’re going to encounter this particular trope. I think until we get to (if we ever do) his character arc, his main job is comic relief and he gives way for characters to act like kids. The others trying to apprehend his actions seems to be a common leeway for lighter episodes and interactions. I do have a problem with him groping other characters and them mostly responding in an angry/nonchalant manner towards him, but what can I do? Hopefully his use for comic relief in this manner is restricted. 

Both Endeavor and Overhaul also give me bad vibes. 

This is not to say that they are not well-written characters. They both represent their tropes in magnificent ways, and their actions, though we may not agree, are definitely two-dimensional. Do I agree with their actions? No. Can I understand what drives them and how this affects those around them? Yes.

I know this is a post about what I dislike, but I do have to mention that characters like Overhaul are difficult to write for me. I do applaud Horikoshi for being able to bring to life such a chilling villain. There’s something about him that just freaks you out. He isn’t exactly shoving his power down your throat, and it just goes to show how much of an eerie character he is.

As for Endeavor, I did not like him at all when he first showed up due to my own experience with people like him. I don’t care for Endeavor as a character much, but I do care for how he affects those around him. I am glad he’s not outright stating he wants forgiveness, but I want to see how those he’s hurt will respond to his character development. That’s a post for another time, so if your interested I wouldn’t mind expanding. 

In all though, people are allowed to hate and love the characters of their choosing. Hate is a strong word, and I don’t feel it towards any character in this particular manga/anime.

I hope that isn’t too confusing, I’m writing this quickly during my lunch break.

📖 = tell a storyI honestly have no idea what to say bc I’m so boring??? sjdhdhjsk I was playing this online game when I was younger and I noticed that every time I wore this certain outfit and hair and eyes a lot of guys would hit on mE IM LAUGHIJG they were so shallow bc it was when I had premium membership and my online friends called it “the magnet” bC IT LITERALLY WORKED EVERY SINGLE TIME LOL so basically: men are still trash online!!!! :))))
