How about headcanons for cuddling the sides? Thank you!

Okay so this has been in the inbox for awhile but I’m in a cuddly mood so I have some more cuddle headcanons of the boys!

Logan: he is one for domestic cuddling, such as you sitting in his lap or you laying on his chest while he reads. Anything that allows him to do his own thing while you cling to him

Roman: it varies on his moods. Most of the time, he prefers you to hold him but there are times that he holds you. Big spoon/little spoon ordeal. If he feels that you’re anything but happy and content, he will cuddle you into his chest and not let you go

Patton: he likes to sit in your lap and tends to cuddle you from the side, his arm around your shoulders or waist as he holds you close. Normally ends up with one or both of you falling asleep though

Virgil: there is a high chance that you don’t cuddle. When you two sleep next to each other, he tends to toss and turn, which causes him to not be one for cuddles. But on the rare day or night that he’s content, he prefers if you’re face to face with him, normally with your foreheads together

Janus: although normally not one for much physical affection, he has his moments. If either of you feel bad, he will have you lay on his chest and wrap you up with his six arms, keeping you safe and comfy

Remus: cuddling isn’t natural for him so he tends to just lay on you. Sometimes, its his head in your lap, which is cute when he doesn’t make inappropriate comments, but other times its his entire body weight while you’re attempting to watch a movie

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I live at 2 different houses right now. At one, we have two dogs (Coco is a pitbull/chow chow and Princess is a Bishon Frise) and a cat (Sebastian is a tuxedo cat). At the other house we have one dog (Duke is a Great Dane) and three cats (Mal is pure black and shes my moms, Mikeneko is a calico and she is my moms fiances, and Calliope is a tabby tuxedo and she is mine)

What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

Physically? My eyes. I can control emotions in them so easily and they’re so pretty. Overall? My determination, as cheesy as that sounds. I’ve gotten through 17 years exactly of so much bad things. (Today is my birthday, so exactly 17, just for today). But I had so many bad things happen throughout my life that I won’t get into but I’m here and I’m happy and proud of myself for accomplishing to get this far. It has taken so much energy but I’m almost able to live fully free. I promise everyone finds their happiness one day, even if it takes years to get there. If i can get through 17 years to find my happiness, you can too. Each day is a day closer to finding your happiness

Periwinkle: What’s something ordinary that has personal meaning to you?

For some reason, bonfires are a thing that, albeit not entirely ordinary, I hold near and dear to my heart. I grew up having them and havent had one in years, but maybe one day

Purple Mountains Majesty: How does someone earn your respect?

Most of the time, it's just being a generally good person and showing that you respect me and will listen to what I have to say. It isnt hard to get my respect but it's hard to lose it and after that, it's near impossible to get it again

I would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of posts. Around a week and a half ago, I started getting in a very bad mental place and have had no motivation to actually write anything. I've been using a specific AU as a coping mechanism to help some. I dont know when this will go away and I get motivation but I do have a few small 'x reader' stories planned out and will be working on those when I get the chance. So I won't totally disappear but I won't be active until I get okay enough to be able to write regularly again. Thank you all for your patience!

Surprise!

Logan: The day was normal, Logan helped you cook breakfast, your favorite today, and you both worked. Occasionally, he would give you a kiss or a hug and you would continue on with your day. Since neither of you had work the following day, he got out one of the bottles of wine he had for your drink for dinner. After dinner, you two joked around as you cleaned the kitchen before you went to bed. He had been reading, laying next to you, before he left to get a drink. You were scanning his book when he returned, and you turned to look at him. Logan was on one knee and his face was slightly red. It wasn't dramatic but the kiss he gave you held all his emotions, mainly happiness.

Roman: You had gone out for the day, mostly shopping which you didn't allow Roman to do since he would buy everything and then some more. Upon coming home, you opened the door to a cleaner house than you left. You put the groceries were they needed to go, since he also wouldn't put them away the way you did. After everything was put away, you began to walk around to find Roman. Upon going upstairs, you noticed that there were rose petals on the floor. You followed them to your bedroom, where Roman was dressed in his best attire and waiting. After a slight monologue of everything he loved about you, he got down on one knee and asked, leading you to say yes. Champagne, a nice dinner, and cuddles were the remainder of the night.

Patton: Of course, he loved to take you to the beach. Sandcastles, swimming, ice cream, the normal for your dates. The fair this year was bright and beautiful, the lights at sunset shimmering off of the water. Patton swung your hands together while you walked, pointing out dogs and games and the occasional ride. After too many games and most of the time, he was sitting on the ground to pet any dog he saw, Patton had you walk along the beach with him. The stars were bright as you walked. He tripped and his shoe came untied, making you roll your eyes. After looking out across the water, you looked back to see him looking up at you with a wide smile and a ring. After you said yes, he tackled you in a hug and his smile shone brighter than any star.

Virgil: It was karaoke night, something Virgil was never fond of but he went with you regardless. It was only his and your friends but he was still always so awkward. It was nearing 10 pm when he begrudgingly walked up to the mic, making sure you were right in front of him to help him stay calm. The song started with a techno beat, something different to his normal music. As the main chorus started, you recognized the song as one you had heard a few times over the years, 'Just Say Yes' by Snow Patrol, causing you to tear up. After he finished, he brought you up next to the mic and got on one knee, the box was the shape of a coffin. You said yes and tackled him into a kiss, making his face light up a bright red.

Janus: He always loved to take you on walks in the fall, the pretty leaves were always so gorgeous to you both. Everything was normal and you walked hand in hand. It was a different path this time, something that he randomly decided to do to you every now and then. It kept you on your toes. When you both got to a small bridge crossing the river that ran through town, he asked about what you wanted the future to be like. After you explained that you never wanted to leave his side, Janus got down on one knee and proposed to you with the softest smile he could manage. The sun set against the water as he put the ring on your finger and gave you a passionate kiss.

Remus: It was Halloween, Remus was below your porch in a full, bloody doll costume. He had stitching along his limbs and face, including over his mouth. Between the small scares of reaching out at someones leg or literally jumping from the darkness, you enjoyed it from the porch, where you handed out candy. It was 9 pm, most of the people retired for the night, and there was still half a bowl of candy left. You both agreed to split the candy. Remus grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the wire over his mouth, handing them to you to put back while he took it off. When you turned to see him, he was smiling up at you, on one knee with a ring. He tackled you into a sloppy kiss after you said yes.

So, I was thinking about how I have my own nicknames for the sides. Feel free to submit your own and I’ll make a list of them soon!

Logan: Logi, Loganberry, Braincell

Roman: Prince, Rolo, Roam

Patton: Patty Cakes, Dad, Pat

Virgil: Virge, Vee, Veevee

Janus: Janny, JanJan, Snake

Remus: Octopie, Ream, Chaos Goblin

so this just clicked in my head and I didn't realize it. Maybe some of you did but I sure didn’t until now.

When I first got into this series, about a year before Remus was revealed, I gave nicknames to the sides that were known.

I gave Roman the nickname Roam. It’s not only just his name shortened but also two different puns. 1, the city of Rome, obviously. 2, however, is not so obvious: if you start to daydream, your mind will roam. So, his nickname is 2 puns in one plus made it easier for me to self monologue (i.e. Vee, Pat, and Logi)

However, onto what I didn’t realize.

As I write an AU involving Remus, I caught myself calling him Ream (which is mentioned in the original post). This is also 2 puns plus just shortening his name (the puns being that ream can mean to clear something or someone out and, ahem, a specific kind of sex)

But upon doing this, I didn’t realize that I gave them nicknames that were one letter apart. I didn't notice it until I wrote it down and someone asked why I wrote ‘roam’ twice (sloppy handwriting)

I both feel smart for doing this and dumb for not realizing
