BREAKING: Shooting reported at elementary school in South Carolina

On Wednesday, law enforcement responded to a shooting at Townville Elementary School in Townville, South Carolina. WSPA7 reported that authorities were on the school’s roof with “weapons drawn.”  Anderson County EMS Director Scott Stolle told CNN at least two children have been shot. Greenville News reported the children were facing “non-life threatening injuries.”

Anderson County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sheila Cole told WSPA7 she “believed” authorities took someone into custody, but she was waiting for official confirmation. This is a developing story.

Update: Two students and a teacher were reportedly injured. Mike Ellis, an Independent Mail reporter on the scene, also said there was a “teenage shooter in custody." More as this story develops.
