Is Byzantium Rome's son? And how? :))
Yeah! Like a son to Rome!
The Roman empire split into East and West so I imagine it as like a person splitting into two , in the case of Rome and "New Rome" it's something like: the West being the "old" Rome , the shell of a man , weak , angry , and the East being the "inner child" , what Rome wished to be (aka what he always wished :to belong with , in this case with who he adored , the greeks)
Doodles!!
Took inspiration from The Lamb and the Wolf - Kindred voices
Wolf: Lamb, tell me a story!
Lamb: There was once a pale man, with dark hair, who was very lonely.
Lamb: All things must meet this man, so.. they shunned him.
Wolf: Did he chase them all?
Lamb: He took an axe, and split himself in two. Right, down, the middle.
Wolf: So he would always have a friend?
Lamb: So he would always have a friend.
(Rome being his own friend, and splitting himself into two , to better govern the empire)
Wolf: Is this what it feels like to end?
Lamb: I do not know, for this is not our end.
(for when the west is collapsing , "for this is not our end" , just fits perfectly)
The "Mostly mute" and "Yapper" (talkative) comes from what happens to people with split brains (Severed Corpus Callosum), The left hemisphere having the "talking" ability , and the Right having mostly the "remebering faces" stuff , I just wanted to add something like that to the mix because I always found it pretty cool
And I think I'll try sleeping...
