🞸 — SKEPTIC
Hearing Sang repeat his thought was enough to solidify that maybe making a bet wasn’t that good of an idea. Taewoo was left sitting without a word to say. There wasn’t a way that he could try to correct himself, or prove that maybe betting on a lot of people dying wasn’t that bad. Instead, he tilted his head to the side, eyes going down to the crumpled blanket at the end of his bed, “Maybe not.” In a way Taewoo was lucky to have Sang as a roommate and teammate – he always was able to put things into perspective (even if it should have been obvious in the first place).
“Wait, really?” His mood picked up: was Sang being serious? If Taewoo was being honest, it didn’t matter if he was being honest or not – Taewoo wouldn’t be making Sang do his laundry any time soon (unless he won the other’s labor fair and square, of course). Not doing laundry all the time was also a small way to help with Earth’s current condition: saving water one unwashed sock at a time. In a weird way, it made sense. “No offense, but never expect the favor to be returned if you do; if I don’t do my own laundry, I won’t be doing anyone else’s,” he let out a chuckle, stretching out his legs in front of him. “But if I am right, trust that I will be rubbing it in your face. After we beat the bad guys, of course.”
their room may not have looked like a proper bedroom (or at least not how sang was used to), but it had enough space to store all of his clothes. good thing he hadn’t brought all of his outfits with him to earth. the man headed towards the storage united behind his bed, opening it gently to store his clean clothes inside. “it wouldn’t be a favor but just… helping out.” he shrugged, walking back to pick up the pile he had left behind. the older may have grown with people who were paid to do his laundry, but he also had some sense of responsibility. “and i wasn’t expecting you to either.” sang scrunched up his nose, moving his head from one side to the other.
he never washed his clothes without having enough dirty clothes to make it worth it — still, there was always enough dirty clothes by the end of the week. it pained his head and it pained his chest to think about taewoo’s lack of hygiene. maybe next time he spotted something laying around he should catch it before the younger could get a chance to reuse it. “well, if they do end up being bad i’m sure we’ll kick their ass.” he finally took his completed pile of clothes, placing it on its deserving spot. “or the trained professionals will. or maybe even you, though i can curse in their mind from afar.”
