Hello. This is TORIEL.

I have spoken with my child about such concepts as "privacy" and "internet safety." After some discussion, I have realized... they are truly quite nosy. (I suppose this should not be a surprise, all things considered.)

I still do not want them to "surf" the "web" unsupervised, so we have made a compromise. They may answer questions here, so long as they ask first. I am trusting all of you to be polite and appropriate with them.

hey. maybe. don't take over someone else's tag for their personal project and feel entitled to it?

back when i first chose the "utdrp" tag, i explained we'd be using it so our rp wouldn't clutter the general, preexisting rp tags, and so stuff from outside our storyline wouldn't clutter ours. now, if you mistook it for a general rp tag, i don't blame you for it. that doesn't change the fact that it's not. that's the reason i wrote that post to clarify things.

seeing as it takes barely 2 minutes to use the tumblr tag replacer and change your posts tagged with utdrp to something else (call it utdrrrp for all i care), and instead you chose to come in here to complain to me about it is... how do you say it... entitled as hell.

but hey, i can't force people to do anything! after all, I'm just a stranger on the internet. i have no power over you, so if you keep doing that, we won't be able to stop you. but i think it goes without saying that we're gonna gonna be annoyed with you for disrespecting our wishes and almost definitely block you. have a good one

hey guys i know we've been kinda vague with restrictions and stuff and that's 100% on us, but we're just gonna settle this really quickly: the utdrp is a closed rp! me and the other guys are all, as they say, in cahoots and we often plan stuff like story beats and interactions together beforehand, so we're not accepting new members.

we're not gonna gatekeep roleplaying of course, or even the "-official" url style. if you wanna grab plot points from us for inspiration feel free to do so, but please don't use the "utdrp" tag for your RP, unless you're talking about it/making fanart. in case you don't know, it's not a generic roleplaying tag, that's specifically the tag we made up for our storyline so it wouldn't clutter up the other roleplaying tags. ok that's all bye :]
