that one scene from deltarune
qualunque sia la feccia subumana definibile solo come bestia che ha programmato il fascicolo sanitario della lombardia deve essere legato per i piedi a un carro e trascinato per le strade di milano come ettore nell'iliade
Choices when talking to Ralsei in Deltarune feel like this
on my "don't walk to metlife" post I kept seeing people say that drivers would "bergentruck" pedestrians on the turnpike and it turns out that that's a reference to an Undertale meme where a character purposefully runs over people, but the portion of the jersey turnpike that goes to metlife is bergen county, and I had just instantly accepted that there was a term specifically referring to jersey drivers from there. I didn't even question it. Neither would you, if you had ever driven there.
posters: if you try to walk on the jersey turnpike they will bergentruck you without hesitation.
me, unfamiliar with undertale memes, but familiar with driving through north jersey: fuckin yeah they will.
after 4 chapters of people going "the dark worlds are escapism!!!" over everything toby and the team went "you want dark worlds as escapism I'll fucking show you dark worlds as escapism"

i’m going to be really honest with you guys i think the tendency to read the absolute worst possible intentions into every action you don’t agree with is getting too automatic and it’s eating you from the inside out
"you can't even say 'stop' like you used to" has me genuinely nauseous by the way. hooooly mother of coding
your dustner post reminded me of the fact that the fandom is divided on if Rudy is actually dead or not… I too am unsure because I did notice the specific phrasing of “he fell down..?” and I wondered if that’s a literal or figurative thing in this world. Like at the end of the chapter we see the lights not being fully set up an Indicator where Rudy fell, but also falling down is what happens to monsters before death?? I’m curious, what do you think?
oh it's 100% intentional, definitely playing on that ambiguity. me personally i hope he's fully dead! it would make for an excellent turning point in the story, the relationship between noelle and susie and the rest of the gang, and force them to confront their differing objectives re: dark worlds and which of them get to stay open (a Pandora's box the ch5 flowers already opened)
the ch5 ending setting up for noelle to join the fun gang and being fully let in on the dark worlds being real right after her dad (presumably) died.... after ch4 established dustners being real..... i see where this is going. i seeee where this is going
