Lets just cut to the chase here. I have a question for ya’ll. Which side do you think is bad? The UT fandom or the people whom don’t like it? And was Undertale truly the first “bad” fandom? The reason this question came up is after I was watching a video by Jacksepticeye. I’m sure you all know what it is.

The game’s called Heartbound, in short as far as I can see its pretty good even if its just a demo. But that’s not what I want to discuss. If you scroll down to the comments you can see nothing but everyone saying almost the same damn thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER! “Undertale’s fanbase is baaaaad” “I hope this game isn’t like Undertale” “Undertale is shit” “Don’t make a comparison of this amazing game to that shit game” AND BLAH BLAH BLAH! You know? For people that don’t like Undertale?….THEY SURE DO LOVE TO FUCKING BRING IT UP! Its so fucking annoying! Which brings me back to my question….Which side do you think is bad? The people whom love Undertale? Or the people that hate it? The fandom? Or the haters? Look, I do respect your opinion if you don’t like Undertale but last I check….I have not seen ANYONE as far as I can tell ever openly attack anyone whom doesn’t like it. At least not often. And everyone’s excuse keeps being the same “YOU CAN’T LIKE THIS SHIT BECAUSE OF ITS FAN ART AND FANDOM” I’ve seen nothing but people constantly bring up Undertale as though it started the existence of questionable fan art and bad fandoms when CLEARLY there were other fandoms before even its existence. Bad ones. And they weren’t even Indie games! Now the people feel like its their “sworn duty” to detoxify the fandom. WHY? Not to mention every time someone thinks a fandom has gotten bad everyone’s always made a comparison to Undertale. “Ohnu the BATIM fandom has gotten as bad as the UT fandom” “oh nu the Cuphead fandom as gotten as bad as the Undertale fandom” FNAF fucking existed before Undertale and I BARELY see ANYONE make comparison to that. Its fucking ridiculous. Undertale was not the origin of bad Fanbases, and its fandom certainly as Hell doesn’t ruin the game because IT’S JUST FAN ART! It cannot affect the game whatsoever unless the creator TOBY FOX says so! Yes, I do see there are some points to why the fandom is bad *Cough*Fangirls & Kill art/videos*Cough* But when have fangirls and fanboys ever been something new? :/ Just because the fandom is bad doesn’t excuse you to downgrade to an even toxic level. And seeing it everywhere is also not an excuse either to why you hate certain things. If its popular OF COURSE YOUR GUNNA SEE FAN ART OF IT! Questionable or not. Regardless of what you think of the game you do not have the excuse nor privilege to attack people either by making comparison of characters “Cagney reminds me of Flowey” or simply because games like HeartBound remind them of Undertale. People should be free to discuss however they wish. I wouldn’t be surprised honestly if people started thinking the Net Neutrality thing happen simply to reduce toxic online. Like it or not your being just as toxic as the fandom if you act like some security guard ready to shout vulgar bullshit and “KYS” to people simply because of the mere mention of Undertale. Heck you’d even go out of you way to attack someone whom just played Undertale but knew nothing about the fandom! Its stupid and childish and doesn’t make the other side better simply by telling people to go off themselves just because someone mentions the game. I apologize for this rant but this needs to be said. Its been so annoying for a long while now. Undertale was not the originator of fan art nor was it the first bad fanbase.

If your sick of this bullshit happening to you, feel free to reblog this or at least give a piece of your own mind to this nonsense.

Things aren’t going swell right now so last thing anyone needs is remembering the internet as a toxic place simply because of an indie game.

List of things to appreciate in Glitchtale

-Papyrus

-Torial and Asgore’s relationship didn’t magically fix all because their son came back.

-Asgore being a good dad.

-Torial being a good mom.

-Papyrus

-None of that disbelief crap because no offence if you like it, but that’s not Papyrus at all, he would NEVER stop believing in someone, he would never stop believing in you.

-Papyrus not being naive, because being very very nice, and being naive are two completely different things, and Glitchtale really shows that Papyrus is not naive, but is very very very kind and loving and willing to help.

-The attention is on all characters, and not just Sans like most things

-Undyne staying strong despite the fact that she basically killed the love of her life.

-The mistakes of Torial were not overseen. (Often times people say Asgore was wrong, and Torial was right, but things are never black and white, she was wrong for leaving the throne when her kingdom needed her most)

-Jessica in Torial’s cloths.

-Gaster character development.

-Have I said how much I freakin love Papyrus in all this? Cause he’s just freakin wonderful.

This ended up being an unintentional three part series; the first with the duo skirting away with danger, the second being their turn to attack, and the third showing the end.

I imagine US!Papyrus taking the hit instead since Papyrus-es are supposed to die off first! It’s alright though. Sans promised to meet him at Grillby’s. ;D
