What is not Working

I'd say that profit is the primary concern here. My purpose was to offer our products at a low and competitive price to end-users. However, I've been lately discovering the corresponding price of my endeavor to be more than I had thought, especially when it comes to print-on-demand productions and shipping. It appears I am on the verge of making a profit only if I redirected my business towards markets where there are no big brands giving away discounts.

How Do I Feel the Project Is Coming?

I feel positive but also realistic about how Enima Print is progressing. On the one hand, I’m happy with the branding, marketing strategies, and the overall business concept. I trust that Enima Print can attract buyers, I still have to improve on my pricing so that I earn a reasonable profit without deterring potential buyers due to prices being too steep.

Overall, I think the project would be viable to maintain it with proper adjustments. This project has been an incredibly valuable learning experience, and I am looking forward to being able to further refine my strategy.

What Am I Learning About Myself?

Through my journey with Enima Print, I've realized that I'm highly adaptable and persistent. As a business person, you're constantly problem-solving every step of the way, and I've realized that I can adjust my approach when plans fail. Whether adjusting the pricing model, streamlining my marketing model, or finding new ways of getting people in the door, I've realized that I can recognize issues and do something about it rather than getting bogged down.

I've also learned that I enjoy the creative side of business—from product development to social media marketing and branding. Seeing how different promotion strategies impact engagement and sales has been an eye-opener. However, I now understand that creativity does not make a business individual; money management and operational efficiency are just as important. I need to improve my ability to balance costs, set competitive prices, and maximize profits.

Moreover, I have learned that I thrive under pressure and that deadlines drive me to organize myself and maintain focus. At the same time, I have learned that achievement takes time—building a brand and winning over customers' trust does not happen overnight.

Last, this experience has only reinforced that I love entrepreneurship. I enjoy having the power to build something from scratch, and I envision continuing on the pursuit of business opportunities in the future, possibly with Enima Print or otherwise.

what are you learning about yourself

During the time in which I am busy in actively learning new things, I have realized that I am enjoying the dimension of business that is creative and marketing even more than I thought I would. The thrill that comes with creating a unique product for a brand and designing, marketing, and eventually positioning them to meet the desired target market has given me a feeling of achievement. Additionally, I have learned that I have to be more savvy in my financial judgment. The process of budgeting, creating the right pricing for products, and confirming their profitability is harder than I had foreseen. From this, I now comprehend that a business's success is determined by not only the exceptional idea but also meticulous planning, executing it and being adaptable. Another important thing that I have come to know about myself is that I am very consistent and can change as a requirement of the situation. Even when the matter at hand is that I am faced with challenges on matters such as pricing, delays in delivering, and not reaching the targeted sales in the time frame, I have been smart enough to think through the problem and change the course of action instead of giving up. This has exhibited that I possess the mindset to diagnose the issue and find its appropriate remedy, which is a critical for the success of any entrepreneur. Finally, I have observed that I function well in a stressful environment. The fact that I am now able to juggle the multiple things which include marketing, sales, production, and financial planning on one side and on the other hand get everything done within the time margins, has let me become more organized and effective.

Business? How's it going…

So far, Enima Print is progressing well! I have a clear business model, and I'm feeling confident about how everything is coming together. Custom clothing, customizable T-shirts, tote bags, and hats have been structured so logically that I've been able to form a solid foundation for marketing, sales, and production.

What is working?

Advertising and branding strategies greatly help me. Building a strong Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook presence has been easier than I thought, and I'm able to engage potential customers using targeted content and promotions. Additionally, the print-on-demand model helps keep costs down, which reduces the need for bulk inventory.

What is not working?

One challenge I'm facing is pricing and profitability. While I want to keep prices affordable to attract customers, production costs and expenses are stacking up, which in turn makes my profit margins lower than I originally anticipated. Also, delays in fulfillment by third-party suppliers make this unpredictable as far as shipping is concerned.

How do you feel the project is advancing?

I feel good about the progress so far! While I do feel that Enima Print has a potential, I realize that this will take longer and need bigger marketing efforts to bring a true profit. This business is very sustainable, but maybe expanding beyond the original 14-week term might necessitate additional funding and target adjustments along the way.

What are you learning about running a business?

What have you learned about yourself?

What Are My Strengths and Weakness?

Personally, I believe I have many strengths and weaknesses, but I want to improve all my weaknesses and turn them into something positive for my life. One of my weaknesses from the past that became something positive is that I learned to manage my time and not procrastinate. This helped me a lot in high school because, honestly, I didn’t perform well at times due to not meeting deadlines. However, I later learned to improve and value my time.

Another of my strengths is that I am a very creative person when it comes to doing things. However, something that sometimes holds me back is that I used to be very shy and struggled with communication. I was once a boy without many friends, but over time, I have turned this into a strength. Now, I consider myself to be very sociable and have many friends.

A weakness I still have is that I sometimes don’t trust myself. For example, in my accounting and mathematics classes, the teacher often asks questions, and I always have the correct answer, but out of self-doubt, I never say it aloud. Instead, I wait for the teacher or someone else to say it. When they confirm it, I realize I was right. I am working on improving this to turn it into a strength.
