In the books, Jon Snow has a long, solemn face, dark brown hair, and grey eyes so dark they almost seem black. He is lean and quick.

The clearest image of Venus ever taken !

i hate to be the gal, but this isn't Venus in its true colours. the image was taken by Japan's Akatsuki, but it was taken by its IR2 camera (in infrared) for research purposes (the image above shows venus's nightside, which, in reality, would be almost pitch black). Venus in true colours looks (approximately) like this:

its thick atmosphere obscures the surfaces and looks a monotonish yellow colour. i.e., this is what Venus looks like if you flew up to it and saw it with your human eyes.

akatsuki, however, has taken many other false colour images:

(UVI (ultraviolet) and IR2 combined of its dayside)

(UVI and IR1 of its dayside)

(IR2 dayside/nightside)

(IR2 nightside)

all of the above images are synthesized true colours, i.e., NOT how Venus looks like in real life, but taken in ultraviolet or infrared and highly contrasted for reasearch purposes.
