"uhh, baby, you uhmm, you got something there", she said pointing at her wings.

"I know my hair is a mess, it can wait 5 minutes."

"no, not that, that's adorable, I just mean..you..have wings and Im not sure if your uh aware of that?"

{Bunny sat up and twisted her neck to see her back, and she definitely had wings, large dark grey fluffy ones, unlike the cream colored wings she'd had prior to her fall.}

"how in the fuck did these grow back?"

{she said out loud, moving one slightly.}

"well I don't know", she said confused

{she flopped back down on the bed.}

"ugh, these are going to be a pain to preen, especially because they're much fluffier than before."

"I needed to talk to you"

{Bunny glanced up at her and after taking a second to register that she was actually there, she ducked down behind the counter out of sight.}

"nope, we're closed now."

{she said, not sure what to do.}

"bunny, I'm here to apologize", she said softly still standing there, feeling bad that she seemed so afraid.

"uh, apology accepted, you can go now."

{Bunny said, not moving from where she was sitting despite her leg screaming at her for how she was sitting.}

"do you....not want to come back to heaven? Away from all the cannibals?", she asked as Sapphira popped out from the back.

{Bunny gestured to Sapphira to go back before answering.}

"uh, no, not all of them are cannibals and one of them is my wife."

[Sapphira looked confused but went back]

"oh...I didn't really expect that"

"the cannibal part or the wife part?"

"wife part"

"been married 76 years."

{She said, slowly getting up, grabbing her cane off the counter to do so.}

"and what did she do to get down here...if I may ask'

"didn't ask."

{she said, which was partially true because Sapphira had told her without her asking, but it wasn't her business to share.}

"okay well uhmm..you seem happy...so I guess I'll be going now...I'm sorry"

{Bunny hesitated but didn't say anything.}

[Sapphira watches as she leaves]

"what was that about?'

"the closest thing I had to a mother figure showing up to apologize for condemning me to hell and shit, and now my leg is angry with me for sitting on the floor, so that's fun."

{Bunny said, just shaking her head.}

"oh, that rough buddy, hasn't she like not talked to you in....forever, why now?", she asked getting on the floor with her.

"probably because of all the stuff they're doing with the princess's hotel and redemption, apparently she thought I'd go back with her, ridiculous right?"

"yeah, I don't really know that much about heaven but it doesn't seem like the most interesting place ever, plus you've been down here for like...forever'

"... though, what happened?, I don't know how you ended up down here in the first place?"

"I was supposed to be some kind of guardian angel, protecting people and keeping them on the right path, that kinda stuff, and I was just really bad at, like catastrophically bad, and they decided that was enough to just fucking kick me out."
