Tyler Childers snipe hunt album , I listened to it high n ran. To me I thought it may have been evil or he had sold his soul to the devil or something , but with careful inspection I had noticed he has been sober Grover . Getting to the bottom 4th track fo the album , lyrics speak of his home town folks getting rowdy and drinking,”I hope to never get that way again” & “do their livers scream for water , are their brains about to swell , through soft part of their temple while they grind their teeth like hell”. First quoted line goes over how he would not like to get dumb n drunk again , the second quoted line is the effects of drinking and drinking without courtesy of being healthy in the first place. I think that song aside from the others like snipe hunt album, greatly amplify cutting off folks to greatly improve myself. First track of snipe hunt Eatin’ big time , is a great encapsulated way to have open arms , while still feeling the survivors guilt of getting big in music. To me Tyler seems as though there is trouble in getting away from the home town nostalgia , there wasn’t much going on then either.
somewhat of a similar feeling i feel as though since graduation it does seem semi-hard to move on n out of what once was , it was there and no disregarding that fact , but to get into the navy and with how slow I’m moving a part of me wants to bask and live in the “what if ?” Or “shouldve/woudlve/couldve” whole ordeal. But hopefully by the end of the navy and I’m big guns or what ever I can eat big time with the folks I have met , as I did and have done before prior , relived , relearned , and retold.
