i’m love women

There is value and worth in lesbian identity, there is life and excitement and thrill and so much love and happiness to be found as a lesbian. To be a woman that loves women and only women is an awesomely powerful gift. To be a lesbian is to have a unique history of the resilience of love to survive. To be a lesbian is to be worthy of love. To be a lesbian is to be worthy of living, to be worthy of taking up space, to be worthy and so so deserving, to thrive and triumph and grow. To be a lesbian is not a sentence, and anyone who says otherwise should be clocked in the mouth.

Living in isolation from a part of yourself isn't fun, and it can make you feel like a fraud. You are not a fraud. Having to live in secrecy makes you no less of a lesbian. Do what you must to keep yourself safe, but find outlets where you can. If you are able, look into GSA groups at your school, meetup groups in your area, or online forums. Find a place of solidarity.

#know you are not alone

Come out when you are ready, not because you feel you owe it to anyone. Prioritizing your safety does not make you a liar or a bad person. Your coming out is not 'deserved' by anyone.

you need not change to be lovable, acceptable

your happiness is not dependent on their acceptance

when you are feeling lonely, know you are not alone. We are many, we are mighty, we will meet one day soon.
