Brienne is moving to @thetaleswetell !

I've been thinking about it for a little while. I probably only delve into this blog once a month so it makes more sense to move her over to my multimuse, where I'm a lot more active.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the only people this will really affect are @call-2-arms and @bestofthem.

I'll be keeping this blog open and use it as more of a Brienne resource for myself (I'll throw things into a queue to keep it going) because this blog has meant a lot to me over the past two years and I don't want to lose that.

Icon-wise, I'll just be using the ones I use on this blog. They're watermarked with an "S" but I really don't have time to redo them all with the incredibly busy life I have at the moment.

But yeah. If anyone is interested in following what I get up to with Bri (and I hope she'll get more interactions over there), please drop me a follow if you don't already :)

If someone told him to make a list of the people that he thought would ever raise his voice at him, Brienne would be on the bottom. So for a moment, he is left gaping at her, before remembering to recompose himself. Part of him wants to dismiss this, to still pretend as if nothing is wrong. Isn’t that what everyone thinks? He had been playing the part excellently, and almost everyone could agree. Which begs the question…how had she managed to see past through his mask? Or was it Renly that had let the cracks show?

 When he smiles, it does not reach his eyes. Instead, there is a hint of sadness to his smile, which is perhaps what Brienne saw before.  He sighs then, looking back at her ❝What do you want me to say, Bri? When is admitting anything makes any difference…to anyone at all?❞

She's pacing the lounge now, has been since their conversation had turned to his brother. She'd envied his attitude once upon a time, his ability to simply let this wash over him. But the look in his eyes had been telling this time, yet still he refused to accept he was hurting.

"I want you to talk to me, Renly!" She answers, not quite shouting now but her voice remains raised. "You never talk! Whatever is going on with Stannis is going to eat away at you and I will not allow that to happen. So talk."

Words slip into a gasp as his lips explore her body. Until now, she has only felt them upon her own and her neck but now, they wander over her breast, down the plane of her belly, and...

"Jaime!"

Hand instantly reaches for his hair, clutching at it as he devours between her thighs. She is still incredibly sensitive from his fucking, so the sensation has her trembling in moments. Her free hand clutches at the furs, back arched so as to expose herself more to his explorations.

No, she definitely had not finished when he had been inside her, not if the intense explosion she felt after mere minutes was anything to go by. Several cries of his name fall from his lips as the waves wash over her, before she collapses, thoroughly boneless to the bed.

Isle of Sapphires II Brienne & Jaime

The cool breeze and salt in the air elicits a soft sigh from Brienne’s lips as she takes her slow stroll along the cliff top. She has made it a daily occurrence since she returned to Tarth a moon ago. It gives her time to think, to gather up the mess of musings trapped in her brain.

It had been near three moons since she saw him. Three moons since he fought the dead alongside her then fled back to his twin in the Capitol. She recieved word that he was dead as she rode for King’s Landing along with the Northern forces and her heart had shattered in her chest. Long had she loved him and, naïvely, she had believed mayhaps he loved her too.

But he had ran into the arms of the Stranger without so much as a word to her.

I was a fool to think anyone could love one such as I.

She thinks on him often. Thinks on the numerous times he had saved her, oft times to his own detriment. Thinks on how he pledged himself to fight at her side, how he rose her to knighthood. Each memory causes an ache in the void where her heart had once been.

She is thinking of the time he jumped, one handed, into the bear pit in Harrenhal to save her.

I dreamed of you.

And suddenly, her own dream of him becomes very real.

“Brienne.”

She whips around so quickly that her cloak tangles about her legs, but she does not stoop to adjust it.

She is looking upon a ghost. He looks near exactly as he had on the final night they had supped together in Winterfell, except there is a new scar down his cheek and his golden hand is missing.

Squeezing her eyes shut, she shakes her head.

“Be gone. Please…leave me alone.”

But when her eyes open once more, Ser Jaime Lannister remains, cloak flapping in the gusts of wind.

“Why must you haunt me? Please…just go.”

And just like that, it was over. His fucking slowed to a stop, the warmth of his seed making itself known in her belly.

She lay there, awkwardly beneath him as he came down from his high, wondering how best to go about telling him that she was yet to reach her pleasure. Although perhaps she had...it had begun to feel good a few moments before he had finished within her. But there had not been that same explosive finality like there had the first night. A small part of her feared that other boarders at the inn would hear the groaning of the bed beneath them, the steady stream of moans and gasps that filled the humid air of the bedchamber.
