Wolfstar-Grant Chapman Thoughts
So there is a song that just feels and describes the relationship of Remus and Grant, (Grant Chapman deserves the world) the song is called “Another Love’ by Tom Odell.
Here is the thing, there is this specific line in the chorus which is:

Thing is that (in my opinion) Sirius was Remus’s one true love, when he thought that Sirius suspected him of ratting the Potter’s to Voldemort he felt so betrayed and etc; when Grant meets Remus and they start being together again, Grant notices that Remus does not ‘love-love’ him, Remus just wants to not be left alone. So Remus cried for Sirius, loved Sirius and when he had to move on another person, Remus could not just love that person (Grant) how he loved Sirius. In this part

In my interpretation Remus has said to Grant “I love you” or “I will always love you” and do the same things he did with Sirius but everything he has said, he said it to Sirius so he is just repeating them. Remus has been furius with Sirius, he has been forgiving and loving but everything he did, itwas with another love; not Grant. So when Grant left he knew he had donw the right thing, coz he knew that Remus would never love him like he loved Sirius.
