Late start
i was wondering how its possible to gain 9 lbs in 3 days and then I looked back at my brief brush with a rock star lifestyle and figured it out. Copious amounts of the finest Wine (Prisoner from Napa Valley and Cakebread as well as Kistler Chardonnay) not to mention the Don Julio Margeritas that goes right along with a girls trip to NYC...AND what goes with Drinking you ask...Eating and lots of it!! Lobster Mac and cheese; Parmesan truffle fries, Porter house steak, New Jersey Pie. I'm pretty sure we ate enough food for a small country. You name it we had it. I had the best time and wouldn't change a thing but I can honestly say I feel pretty bad coming down from this massive overindulgence.
I guess the only saving grace for me is that I did go to xfit NYC and ran in Central Park and weigh in and measurements were yesterday.
This couldn't come at a better time...while I was hungover as shit yesterday I did manage to eat completely paleo, caught up on my sleep (that was easy), and started playing catch up on all the challenges.

OMG yes I’m adding a photo!!!!!! This is a tumblr first!!!! Anyways I made this casserole and everyone was so impressed that I figured I’d finally share a paleo success!!! Such good comfort food….everyone needs to give this a try!!!! Still holding off on making treats:).

oh great…Paleo challenge and Tims brings out their freaking delish pumpkin muffins? Oh The humanity. ..
Yesterday was as sucky as sucky gets performance wise and cravings and grumpy…I was totally embarassed to turn in my WOD reps. Guess hoisting an extra 15lbs of flubber is harder than i first thought!! Onward and upward!
Food, meds and sleep all good. Performance, not good but I will get there.
Bev, Bev, Bev…get this put on a bumper sticker so you never forget it:
"Dead Last Finish is greater than Did Not Finish, which trumps Did Not Start"
Never be embarrassed to submit your scores. We keep score only to make you push as hard as you physically can on any given day. We all have days that we aren’t proud of, but all Cindy and I have ever asked is that once you walk in the door at Crux, you give the maximum effort that you are capable of.
No one at the Crux should ever be judged by the score they submit, but by the effort they put out. And besides, like a wise man once said….just by coming in the door, you are doing infinitely better than all those sitting at home eating ‘friedpooptaters marinated in caramelfucksauce’ and wondering why they have barrel asses.
Better Yet get it tattooed on your ass!
I need that reminder everyday! So glad you are back!!!

I need that reminder once in a while as I tend to have slower times & lower rep scores. But I know I’m getting better!
But then I just tell myself that I can likely whoop the ass of all the couch potatoes out there! Cause at least I’m doing something :)

Feeling the Carb deload today around 4 pm now to stay away from the fridge AM: 1 litre of water when i wake up infused with lemon slices Coffee/almond milk 6:00am 2 eggs 2 tbsp cheese 8:00am 3 eggs 3 pcs bacon tomatoes 11am Leftover Brussel sprout stuff from last night 2pm Snack4pm: 1/2 can tuna, dill pickle, 1/2 HB egg Dinner: hot Italian sausage, peppers, onions and spinach
Think I will lay off the eggs tomorrow… It just happened that way today.
