As we finish a decade, I keep thinking back of all the things I had gone through to welcome 2020. Graduated high school. Got a degree. Moved out when I was 18 years old. Met a lot of interesting people that became my friends and family. Fell in love. Did so many good things and also bad. Dealt with a huge life lesson that made me a better person. Lost friendships. Lost jobs. Gained new life experiences and welcomed new friends to my life. Traveled and went to so many concerts and festivals. Got engaged. Called off my wedding months after. Dealt with so much pain in 2018. That was the year that I can say I hated the most. But at the same time, it made me take care of myself. It made me stronger and realizing that I’m a fucking badass. Going to therapy helped me overcome the pain that had followed me for a very long time. I realized that some relationships can’t go as far as they can. I welcomed 2019 ready to conquer the fucking life out of it. I started my own business! Kaptured Pixel Photography! I lost so much weight! Which is still another goal to keep going and never stopping. I met the most amazing human being that God has ever put in my life. I was able to love again and feel that connection I always wanted to have with someone. I have never felt so happy. Like really happy. He has changed me and has showed me new things that I never knew before. I intend to marry this man and make us a happy home. I’m ready for 2020.
