She just couldn’t believe that it was Prue. Piper hadn’t cut her hand, but she grabbed a towel to wipe it in case any glass shards were on them. “How… it’s been a year or two.” She recalled, she was still recalling a lot, but she knew for a fact that she had lost her sister. Her role model. But she was standing right in front of her. “H-how.” Piper bit back a sob not wanting to show her sister that after all these years she was still an emotional cry baby. “I’m fine. Yeah. I am just…” She sighed and moved a hand to caress her sister’s face, before pulling her into a hug. “Promise me this isn’t another false reality where a demon is trying to kill me.” Piper definitely never truly got over that, but you live and learn. “Maybe the door was open for a reason.” Piper pulled back to look at Prue. Quickly wiping her eyes. “I tried so hard to be you… for Phoebe, for Paige… it was hard. It was so hard.” Since becoming the eldest, Piper had a new respect for her eldest sister, because she knew that it was something that only select few understood what they had went through.
prue didn’t know how it was possible either, but in this exact moment she didn’t care. she had been waiting to see her sister’s again for what seemed like eternity and she was finally in that moment. as soon as she was standing right in front of piper, she pulled the younger brunette right into her arms not wanting to let go. nothing felt any different from the dozen of times, she had held her sister in her arms the years before. “i promise, i’m not going anywhere. i’m here to stay, there’s no getting rid of me this time.” she chuckled a little bit removing herself from the hug, to move a hand up to her cheek wiping away some of the tears. “i’m sure you did a great job piper. you’re a strong woman.”
lexie & frank
there was a lump in his throat that he suddenly had to force down. losing his family had ruined tim –– at least, it was easy to tell himself that. but he’d been gone long before that, and maria had known it, too. it was just him, they had only been a catalyst. “huh,” he forced out the syllable so the silence wasn’t so tense, cleared his throat. “yeah, no, that uh – that makes sense. i just didn’t think that kind of thing was possible.”
lexie was quite confused herself and was still processing how it was possible that she was alive, so she could only understand how others around her felt. ❝ trust me, i’m still trying to wrap my head around it. i think it’s going to take a little time. well, technically speaking it’s not suppose to be possible. that’s what’s got everybody so confused. ❞ she said looking at the older man and sighing a little bit.
pacey and octavia
“i’ve really got no idea what capeside is. This beach is beautiful though, reminds me a lot of skyring as well.” octavia shrugs their shoulders, taking a quick drink of their own. the festival was..a lot, it wasn’t something she’d really ever be used to, not that they could see any way. “there are a lot of people in woodshore, how small could your town be?”
“well, let me tell you something. you’re missing out because capeside is a beautiful town and bonus points because it just happens to be where i’m from.” he gave her one of his famous witter smiles and then took a small sip of his drink. oacey raised his eyebrow a little bit and scratched the back of his neck as she mentioned skyring, having no idea what the hell she was talking about. ❝ oh, it’s very small. you’d be surprised, i’m pretty sure everybody knows everybody’s business around that town. there are no secrets. what’s a skyring? ❞
pacey & steve
steve couldn’t complain too much about the heat in the woods either, though he really wasn’t one for complaining too much about the weather anyway. he only brought it up as some bad small talk, but he was glad his neighbor just rolled with it. “i’ve been trying to take mine before the sun’s up too and that helps,” he said, nodding. it probably wasn’t suggested that one did that in the woods, but he also wasn’t too concerned and stretched the run into town too. it helped that he didn’t sleep much anyway too. “i thought about doubling up with one at night, but the bugs.” and that was just worse when you were running in his experience.
pacey liked living in the wooded area, though he did have to agree with the other man that the bugs were a downside. ❝ yeah, i’m with you on the bugs. i’d have to cover myself in bug spray to avoid them and that’s something i’d rather not do. i’d be going through cans and cans of that stuff. plus, i think i’d look funny running while trying to swat the bugs away from my head❞ he joked
@rxdemptxn for anybody!!
“i’m just saying, that this beach has nothing on capeside. we might be a small town, but we have boats and beaches. it’s a nice quiet town and this is just crowded. it’s not my style.” pacey said taking a sip of his drink, after going off about the festival. he might have had a little too much to drink after missing his friends and realizing that the festival would’ve been much better if he wasn’t there ALONE.

“That…and maybe a huge shark would come up and try and eat me,” Dante protested, staring at the paddle board. He hadn’t been paddle boarding yet, but since she dragged him out here just so she can do it….He sighed after he thought about it for almost a while. “Okay,” he said after seeing it her way. “Let’s go paddle boarding. But if I see one shark, then I’m blaming you.”
lexie laughed a little bit and grab the paddle boat up out of the sand. “you do know that most sharks want nothing to do with you. there are only like 16 shark attacks every year, with one fatality every two years. those shark movies are just made to scare you and make you fear sharks. trust me, i don’t think a shark is going to swoop up and eat you.” lexie said looking over at her friend, waiting for him to grab his board. she knew that the useless shark documentary that she had watched back in 9th grade science would come in handy one day.

The beach festival interested her so much that she had to go. Sure she’d been to one before here in Woodshore, but never in the summertime. So here she was, walking around in a swimsuit coverup, gladiator heels, and her kraken necklace around her neck, walking around while her familiar was on her side. Seeing one of the games, she grinned as she went over to see if she could play it. “Wanna join me?” she asked, looking over her shoulder. “Promise I’ll let you go first.” @woodshorestarters
prue still wasn’t sure about this whole beach festival, but she figured that she’d give it a try. “it’s not really my type of game, but i’ll watch. trust me, i’ll probably just make you lose.” she said giving the other brunette a half smile, as she looked over at the other people playing the game.

( Piper Halliwell & Prue Halliwell )
Piper was sweeping up her club and preparing to shut it down for the day. Last night was a great and busy night, so it explained why she was still there helping her staff clean up. Most of them were in the back, restocking and doing inventory, while she took care of the front. She heard someone come in through the front door and didn’t bother looking up. “We are closed.” She called and continued to wash the glasses in the sink. Mentally arguing with herself on if she closed the door or not. “You’ll have to comeback ton-…” She said as she looked up and stopped mid sentence. “… P-prue….” You would think that someone used Piper’s freezing power on her. But she was shocked… no demon had imitated Prue before and Prue’s ghost had never come to them before. Was this real. “No… I-I… you-you…” the glass dropped from her hand and shattered in the sink. “Damn it…” she gasped. “Is that.. you?” She sobbed lightly, her eyes full of tears that had yet to fall down.
@wanderlcsts
prue had gotten word from a few other people after searching around woodshore, that there was a woman looking just like piper running a club right down the street from where she currently was. the brunette had just ended her shift and decided to check out the club, knowing that piper used to keep it open pretty late back home. the door was still open and the minute prue walked in, she knew that piper was in there. “maybe, next time you might want to lock the door then. also, as a safety precaution. you never know, who’s just going to stroll down in here.” she joked a little bit, walking more into the light so her younger sister could make out her face. prue knew that it was going to be a shock and she couldn’t imagine how she would’ve felt if she was in piper’s shoes. watching piper’s fill with shock as she dropped the glass, prue rushed over to make sure she was okay, worry filling the older halliwell’s face. “it’s really me piper. i don’t know how to explain it all but right now that doesn’t matter. are you okay?”

“i heard that there a ferris wheel somewhere around here. i really wanna try it out wanna come with me we can call it an Adventure cause it technically kinda is one “
pacey laughed a little bit and nodding his head. he wasn’t going to say no to going on an adventure, plus it beat walking around the beach by himself. “i’d love to. who’s going to say no to that kind of offer?”

❝ OH, SHIT. ❞ the brunette nearly spat, almost dropping her camera, before swinging the strap around her neck all in one not-so-swift movement. she’d been attempting to get some scenic shots around the festival & had trailed towards a not as crowded area, only to almost accidentally drop her camera as she maneuvered around for a snap. bright hues shot towards someone, a small flush of her cheeks as she wasn’t sure if the other had seen her little fumble. ❝ let’s pretend that didn’t happen ? ❞
pacey had been walking around the festival by himself, just taking in the atmosphere and the crowd surrounding him. he wasn’t quite paying any attention to what was in front of him, until he noticed the brunette in front of him with a camera trip a little and he wondered is she was alright. ❝ pretend like what didn’t happen? last i checked you were just taking some nice photos of the festival here. ❞ he gave her a quick smile, gathering that she was alright and just a little embarrassed over what had just happened. pacey had his fair share of trips in the pass, as he was probably the clumsiest one out of his group of friends other than jen that was. ❝ are you having a good time so far? seems like the food is pretty good. ❞
@handsbloodied lexie grey & april kepner
lexie was walking along the beach, when she spotted april and harriet out of the crowd. it was nice to see a familiar face in the midsts of all the people gathering for the festival. the brunette slowly made her way over, smiling as she reached the fellow surgeon. ❝ hey you guys, are you having a good time? ❞

❝ come on! what’s the worst that could happen? you could fall off into the ocean and get wet? paddle boarding is suppose to be fun and relaxing! plus, it won’t be fun if i just go by myself. ❞ lexie said trying to persuade him to rent a paddle board and go in the water with her. making friends in woodshore was hard at first for lexie, but over the last few months she had finally made a few friends and she was starting to make a little home here for herself.

Beach || Open
Eggsy was fucking psyched. Things had been all doom and gloom with his job and then coming here while setting up a Kingsman location. He hadn’t had time for himself. He really needed some time to fucking relax. So it was time for the beach, especially with a festival going on. Maybe later he would go for some surf, maybe a dip in the water, but right now he was walking through the sand barefoot with a fruity drink in his hand. Today was good.
pacey was headed down to the beach, he couldn’t have been more thrilled for the festival. it was a good way to get to meet everybody around woodshore and to see if he could find anybody from capside around here. he had yet to bump into anybody and he was starting to get worried that he made a mistake by following the letter by coming to woodshore. “well, it looks like you’re having fun already. mind sharing with me where you found that drink? i could use one of those right about now.”
cfhumcnity:
it was late, nearly closing time for the golden lion, an authentic ‘irish’ pub with an authentic irishman behind the bar. sean had been given the keys to lock up, a sign of trust after some cash had mysteriously gone missing from the till last week - that wasn’t him, though, he didn’t piss in the cup he drank from. looking up from where he was refilling bottles, he spotted a figure in the doorway and something inside him tensed. a foe, a drunkard, what? sean grasped a bottle just in case before calling out ; “oi, mate, we’re closing,”
lexie had just left the hospital and figured she’d stop by the golden lion for a drink on her way home. something about her day, she just wanted it to remind her like old times when she and a bunch of old friends would go across the street from seattle grace and grab a drink at joes. except now, she was stuck in woodshore and her friends weren’t here. the brunette sighed a little bit as she heard the bartender call out from across the room and waved her hand. “oh, i’m sorry. i guess, i didn’t realize how late it was.”

Paige had a strange meeting with Prue the first time they met. She wanted to get to talk to Prue and make it not so awkward between the two of them. Paige had invited Prue over to her place so they could speak in private and talk about everything. She did throw a lot at Prue and wanted to give her the right time to process. Paige set out some snacks and was waiting on Prue to get there so they could actually talk about everything.
meeting a sister you never knew existed was a lot of information to take in. the older witch was used to finding out secrets about her family years later, but to find out she had a sister. one who had been out there this whole time, prue didn’t know how to react. she felt bad about how she handle herself when meeting paige the first time coming off a little cold, even though she was more shocked than anything. the older halliwell was thankful it hadn’t scared her away completely and she had gotten a text from paige asking if she wanted to meet again. after arriving at paige’s apartment, prue took a deep breath before knocking at the door.

huh. not only was she claiming to have come back from the dead, but apparently, she remembered exactly how it had happened. that was a hell of a thought. but it was the last thing that he would have wanted for maria and the kids. frank might’ve wanted them back, but to remember? he would have never wanted that. “how many others are like you?” he asked. “is that some kind of common thing around here or?”
“so far? i’ve only met one other person, but i’m sure there are more.” she said softly pretty sure the person in front of her was thinking she was a complete lunatic. lexie wouldn’t blame him if he did, if someone came up to her telling the same exact story she would be questioning it as well. “honestly, i’m not sure. i don’t like to parade around town telling people i’ve come back from the dead, if you know what i mean?”
