Hello! I'm Amanda (or Pearl, depending on who you talk to), and this is a fundraiser to help me pay for this quarter of school so I can keep on striving to become a librarian. This quarter, I am paying my tuition out of pocket. I cannot take out student loans because mine are currently in default....

Hey there, Tumblr. Apologies for the break in content (who doesn’t love fandom and cute animal posts, right?), but I wanted to reach out and ask for a hand.

I know I’m one of many who ask for help on Tumblr, or anywhere. But I figured it is better  to ask than nothing at all. I would like to pay my tuition for this quarter of school in time to register for Spring quarter. I thought of taking out payday loans or opening up a high interest credit account or something… but I don’t want to get back into that predatory cycle. I thought of giving up, but I don’t want to let this dream go. As a last resort, I thought about asking for help. 

So that’s what I’m doing. I’m asking for a helping hand. 

If you can’t donate, that’s totally okay! Just sharing this and spreading the word would be much appreciated! I know I haven’t got a huge following of people and haven’t spoken much about myself on this blog, but I’m hoping people can rally behind the cause of bringing up another librarian a world that doesn’t seem to favour books and knowledge like it used to.

Are you excited for this next year? I am. I’m so excited that I have amazing friends that I get to create with, and I’m super excited about what we have in store for the upcoming year. Thankfully Dragon baby will be big enough to tag along on shoots and get to experience everything we do at such a young age. Hopefully she doesn’t get worn out and tired of it.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank these two lovely gals who have been amazing friends and kind enough to model for my work various times this year. We really pushed our boundaries and growth and I’m hoping we can exceed what we created.

Lovely Demons was a boudoir set that we released on Valentine’s day this year. I hope you remember it, if not, you should check it out. 🙏✨

@ladyduvessa and I were inspired by the makeup of @ilost.unicorn and I had acquired the wig from a sale on @evahairofficial the styling was done by @ladyduvessa (the full look is adorable)! The horns are a set of demon horns hand made by @armored_girl 💕

Over all this set of a pastel demon girl on a nature walk really pushed me with capturing a crisp photo while fighting with direct sunlight and shade.

I realized I hadn't mentioned that I was pregnant on Tumblr - I found out in March (after my birthday) that Ninja and I were pregnant, in May we found out I was 5 months into my pregnancy and that we were likely having a daughter. I worked my butt on till the first weekend of October on Photography work (did a shit job updating my Tumblr.) And on the early morning of October 7th my little dragon joined the ranks of the human race. She was born small, and my delivery with her was so fast and came so fast after my water broke that my delivery was med free (I felt EVERYTHING) & quick that it was 27 mins of pushing. I also accidentally kicked someone in the face - I apologized to my mom thinking it had been her - turned out it was a nurse (I never found out who 😱). She came out with a full head of hair, ginger hair. This was taken when she was 4 days old. She's currently 5 weeks old. I adore her so much. I'm excited to see the person she grows up to be.
