You know, between this, Lighter & Princess and Zang Hai, Zhang Jingyi is the QUEEN of taking these abused feral men who are capable of murder and have committed some insane violence and who keep pushing her away due to the mess in their heads and go I WILL LOVE YOU INTO HAPPINESS, STUPID, AND YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE and it's amazing!

This scene might be my favorite 2026 drama scene because OH MY GOD

He starts beating the man who was going to hurt Miao Jing and he PTSD flashbacks to his horrific past and it all overlaps and he literally starts beating the man to death with his bare hands...

And she rushes out of the car, and tries to hold him as he's beating a man to death! Trying to restore him to sanity through sheer love and aaaaaaa

The way she cradles him, the way she tries to hold his bloodied hands, when he's utterly out of his mind, his hands literally covered in blood, and when she saw him at his darkest - saw what violence, what insanity he's capable of, what danger he can present. And yet, she doesn't even pause. Even as he starts freaking out and literally clawing at himself...

The first words he says when he comes to...

And her response, immediate and without hesitation? AS SHE HOLDS HIS BLOOD-COVERED HANDS TO HER FACE?

The way he clutches her like a drowning man, as if he can meld himself into her or her into him aaaaaa

PS I had to eat so much crow - if you asked me before this drama if I thought Song Weilong could act, I'd have said no and Go Ahead was a weird fluke. But his acting in this scene was genuinely so good! I really think the man belongs in moderns and should never ever be allowed near a costume drama unless it's a realistic one.

So I just finished a kdrama (been a while since I binged one because uni was kicking my ass lol so this was a feat!!). Hooked me up and never let me go!! Like an au where a government agency holds students/teachers accountable to whatever issue they got in. Hold them accountable by all means!!

Was soooo confused why tf he had that bandage thing on his hand. I said, my man here never fought???? He had no reason to break his wrist or sumth. His forte was sitting down and pulling strings, using his power and connections to protect his team and let his team serve justice. It didn't look like a fashion statement to me too so I was ????

Then I sat down and let the credits roll...😭

To commemorate Mysme's 10th anniversary, our team is making a digital zine to celebrate the game and characters and to thank Cheritz. The zine will be completely free for all MCs to enjoy; but it will also be a compilation of art and stories that will be sent to Cheritz within the year.
