It felt, to be frank, extremely odd to buy flowers for a vampire, and she's not sure if her ego is quite soothed by Pamela's reaction... But perhaps she can be persuaded. She comes closer. "I've been thinking about you," she allows. "Quite a bit."

SOMETIMES  IT  TAKES  PAM  A  MINUTE  TO  FULLY  EXPRESS  ANY  AMOUNT  OF  APPRECIATION.  To  be  fair,  she  doesn't  get  the  opportunity  to  do  so  very  often.  Sometimes,  she  forgets.  But  she  senses  Larissa's  demeanor  and  as  soon  as  she  steps  closer,  Pam  brushes  a  hand  against  her  cheek.  ❝  I've  been  thinking  about  you,  too.  Quite  a  bit.  ❞  She  leans  in,  placing  a  soft  kiss  upon  lips  before  pulling  back.  ❝  Anything  specifically?  ❞

Larissa is blushing, of course, waving a hand as she turns away, pouting with an obviousness that will embarrass her later: "If you don't like flowers, you don't have to keep it. I just thought..." "Billy fucking Flynn baby." Velma grinned as she wrapped her arms around Pam's neck. Who didn't know who Billy was, hell people from all the from California probably knew who he was. Velma lets out a content hum, followed by a breathy laugh as she's tugged closer to the blonde. She buries face against her shoulder for a minute before answering. "We did, Mama helped me out a little, but her favor is no big deal though."

OF COURSE SHE KNOWS WHO BILLY FLYNN WAS. He was a narcissistic asshole, but he was the best in the business when it came to being a lawyer. Pam's impressed, though perhaps a bit suspicious. "I remembered." Morticia says softly, both hands now gently cupping the sides of Pamela's face. "It's me...I remember." She'd been getting glimpses of random memories, and nightmares of the bad ones, but she wouldn't dare speak of such things to Gomez; because yes he does loves her, but he would tell her what she wanted to hear. This was something needed to figure out on her own now she had.

THE WAY MORTICIA IS LOOKING AT HER NOW, brings a mixture of emotions within the vampire still holding onto her; anger, sadness, grief, disbelief. It's me, she says and Pam can't stop her head from shaking from side to side while almost dismissing the hand upon her cheek. ❝ No. No, that's not possible. ❞

Though the idea that Velma could have been reincarnated isn't entirely out of reach to Pam's beliefs, it's a reality she doesn't know how to face. If she remembered everything; then she could remember the fact that Pam wasn't there in time to save her.

She could remember their last argument, the look on Pam's face when she held onto her tightly during those last few moments; apologetically and ashamed. Similarly to how she was holding onto Morticia now. If she really was Velma reincarnated, what did it matter now—? ❝ You aren't her. ❞

Thanks mom. She almost says it. Almost brave enough to sass Pam back, but if there's one thing she doesn't need right now, it's making one of the few vampires that's known her the longest into an enemy. Her fingers rub at her eyes, a frustrated sigh escaping her. "I know. I'm just not all that interested in havin' another monarch comin' into my state actin' like I'm a fuckin' child."

The redhead's hands fell to rest on her hips, staring at the goo that remained on the tiles of Fangtasia. She hadn't had the king staked but surely his. . .fifteenth? Sixteenth? Progeny probably meant something, right? "He wouldn't shut the fuck up about how cute it was that y'all let me play politician and--" Her shoulders shrugged, "I slipped."

ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE, AND PAM MIGHT'VE BEEN PROUD. She's only pissed at the moment because there was blood on her floor. Not even blood she would have to necessarily clean up herself, but that was beside the point. It still happened on her turf. On her property. On her supervision.

It doesn't. She's bleeding from her eyes, ears, nose, and other places after waking up midday and failing to slip back into sleep even if she'd wanted to. She didn't want to explain to the elder that she'd been struggling to keep some semblance of a sleep schedule but the last time Pam had caught her with the bleeds, she'd had to come clean.

And truly, she'd been doing okay! She'd managed to find the right combination of things to keep her under during the day and it'd worked for awhile! But a busy mind and old memories coming to surface of late had chased the security away from the nest she'd built and left her staring at the ceiling from about five in the afternoon. Fucking summer. Were it winter, it would've been fine.

IF PAM COULD'VE ROLLED HER EYES ANY HARDER, THEY'D BE OUT OF THEIR SOCKETS BY NOW with Jessica's senseless explanation. She'd been a young vampire once herself, once upon a time, but never did she have to endure these types of turmoil experiences. Then again, knowing who her maker was, no wonder she was constantly in turmoil and unable to rest easily.

For some reason, Morticia doesn't like seeing this woman cry, and as if it were second nature, her other hand reaches up to wipe away a blood tear, and that's when it happens. Her eyes roll back, and her head lolls back. She sees the same thing Pam just saw, the woman dying in her arms looked just like her, then there's other parts, happier parts. Thank the spirits she's a dove because she thinks she wouldn't like the dark parts. Those come too. Only now it's not visions, it's memories. They flood Mortica before eye shoot open again, and she's the tears again. Agin she reaches up to wipe the blood from Pamela's face. "I-It's...I..." Morticia can't really find the words.

MORTICIA'S ENTIRE BODY GOES LIMP IN HER ARMS, fast enough to force Pam to catch her and almost by instinct, the vampire holds her tightly; memories coming alive once more but in a way that seems entirely surreal. She nearly drops to her knees, but holds herself steady because Morticia hasn't entirely given herself into whatever metamorphosis she's experiencing. It's only enough to cause Pam to stumble a bit and bring the woman closer just to make sure she's kept upright. The look on her face, it's bizarre and indescribable. ❝ Wh-what—? What happened? ❞

Pam's thumb rubs her clit. Larissa can feel the motion of her hips behind her hand. Dizzy, dizzier, the skin of her neck sucked between Pam's lips, the scrape of her teeth again, and then--

It wasn't as if Velma would suddenly awaken and be brought back, regardless of how similar they looked. This wasn't Velma. A flash of memory overwhelms her at the thought of the dying woman in her arms and suddenly she feels as if she may cry. Eyes closing shut at the same instant hand touches her cheek, blood already running down her face and she holds back a scream.

Larissa grabs Pam's arm. Here? Right here? Oh, god. She looks up and down the alleyway, but there's nothing: them, the hard wall against her back, some sort of garbage receptacle (having a hand in one's pants nearby the trash is quite something), not even a light overhead to illuminate them, even if someone were to step outside. A lock of hair from her mussed updo falls against her cheek; Larissa is still entirely clothed, but feels entirely naked.

Her skin has been awake all night, warm and aware of Pam's gaze; now it wants more, the same way her mouth is bereft without her imperious kiss. But right here?

"Don't stop," she says again, before she quite knows she's going to say it. "Don't stop.
