I heard a car going by…
“I thought I heard something drop, maybe I’m just psyching myself out.”
“Never mind, I’m probably just hearing things in my head.”
No…I mean yeah but it was probably a cat. When cats mate they usually sound like someone is having their throat ripped out right? I watched National Geographic like one time so…I’m pretty sure about this one.
“Oh.” Sarina replied, slight oddness in her tone. “Well as long as it was a cat we should be good.”
“Wait - did you hear that?”
Thank you. All these people are driving me to drink.
Sarina took the bottle after he was finished, a smirk growing across her lips. “Just stay by me and you should be okay.”
“Funny, I hear that one a lot too. Guess we have more in common than I originally thought.”
“Well looks like I’ll have to stick around you more often.”
“Are you a mega bitch with anger problems?”
“If you push me to it I can be a raging bitch, but I’d say for the most part I’m pretty chill.”
“Do you have any?”
“Yeah, I have quite a few bottles out in my car.”
Some people like to brag.
“Well I’m more than open to sharing my bottle. So have a drink!”
If you’re open to sharing.
“If I wasn’t open to sharing then I wouldn’t have mentioned that I have a bottle.”
“That’s good to hear. Usually with everything that’s going on you don’t hear people being good enough, so that’s kinda bad I can definitely understand why. I’m good, you know. Trying to not worry about someone killing me, but rather than that I’m peachy.”
“Well I haven’t had anything really scare me quite yet or any danger so I’m not really freaking out quite yet. But yeah, I’m glad you’re doing okay.”
“Yeah. No problem. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. That’s a perfectly valid reason. How have you been? I haven’t seen you in a while…”
“It’s really no problem, I’ll just finish this bottle tonight. But yeah, I’ve been pretty good. Haven’t been going out too much, what about you? Haven’t talked for quite some time.”
“Good to know. I’ll try to never be annoying, But yeah, seriously, it is nice to hear I’m not alone in this. Cause I guess most people think I’m insane now, but oh well. What’s the point of living if all you do is constantly try to please everyone else, you know?”
“Most people think I’m just a mega bitch with an anger problem, so you’re not by yourself as being labeled insane.”
“What kind of names?”
“Bitch is usually a common one.”
“I am fairly positive that this is vodka. Don’t know if you want to like try it or stick to what you are drinking. Any particular reason you are looking to drink vodka? If I may ask of course”
“I’ll just stick to my own bottle then, but thank you anyways. And no reason why I wanna drink vodka, just was asking.”
“You’re an actual doll, you know that?”
“Well, I’m used to being called other names but doll is nice to hear.”
Of course.
“Well I’m glad to hear that, do you want some right now? I have Jack.”
