BPSC Recruitment 2020 (553 Vacancies in Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)) BPSC APO Recruitment 2020: Bihar Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited applications for the Assistant Prosecution Officer Competitive Examination-2019. A total of 553 posts will be appointed through this examination. Only the original residents of Bihar will get the benefit of every kind of reservation. Candidates from all sections of other states can apply in the unreserved category only. These posts have to be applied online. Interested candidates can register online by 21 February 2020. Pay Scale: As per Pay Level-9. Official Notification Link Age limit (according to the post / service) - Minimum 21 and maximum 37 years for male candidates of general category. Maximum 40 years for backward class, extremely backward class, backward class women and unreserved women of Bihar. - The maximum age limit for SC and ST candidates of Bihar will be 42 years. - Age will be decided on 01 August 2019. Selection Process Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (preliminary and main) and personality test.
BPSC APO Exam Pattern - Preliminary & Main
Preliminary exam format - It will have two question papers. The first paper will be of General Studies, which will have 100 questions. Under this, questions related to general science, current events of national and international importance, history of India, general geography, India's polity and economic system will be asked. - The second question paper will be related to the method. It will have a total of 150 questions. Under this, there will be questions related to Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act, Penal Procedure Code and Indian Constitution. - All questions will be of multiple choice type. Two hours time will be given for each question paper. - Candidates who clear the exam will be selected for the main examination. Preliminary examination marks will not be added to the final selection list. Main exam format - This exam will be of total 900 marks. It will have seven question papers. The first paper will be general studies, the second Hindi language and the third English language. Each paper will be of 100 marks. - Fourth paper is Indian Penal Code 1860, fifth paper is Indian Evidence Act 1872, sixth paper is Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 and seventh paper is of other law. There are 150 marks for each. - All papers will be of descriptive nature. Each will be given three hours to solve. personality test The candidates who qualify in the main examination will get a chance to appear in the personality test. It will be of 100 marks.
