Django’s face dropped at the appearance of his Nana. He quickly shook his head. “No Nana. Never!” he lied. He wasn’t even thinking about the strange scarf he had tied around his head in a bonnet sort of fashion.

Yeah, sure, Django may not want Sartana to see it, but he sure was more scared of his grandmother than anything. So, making a large sigh, he slowly untied the scarf and took it off of his head, revealing a large gaping hole in the side of his head. He said nothing. He just stood there, ashamed of himself.

When she saw it, Sartana didn't know how to react. That greyface was right. The hole was clearly made by laser, something that Black Cuervo specialized in. She was... disappointed.

Sartana did spare her grandson any words. No screams of anger, a scolding, or even expressing how disappointed she was. She merely left in silence, not giving a single word.

((now that i think about it, Sartana recognized all of the Riveras when they were back from the dead. So she probably fought them all when they were alive. So Justice Jaguar had to deal with not only his son growing up to be a villain, but growing up and dating Sartana of the dead...))

Django’s face dropped at the appearance of his Nana. He quickly shook his head. “No Nana. Never!” he lied. He wasn’t even thinking about the strange scarf he had tied around his head in a bonnet sort of fashion.

Django saw her reach for his scarf and he ducked, moving out of her way. "What are you talking about? I’m not hiding anything!" he shook his head again. He gripped the edges of the scarf tightly, in hopes that if she did get her hands on it that she wouldn’t be able to take it off of him.

Okay, he was hiding something for sure. "Django, you show your Nana now or I'll make you," she threatened, leaning in even more. Her right hand went back a bit, moving towards her guitar. One way or another, that revolting head scarf would be removed. And, if it just so happened to be nothing to worry about, she would treat him to a good crime sweep.

He turned his head away from his grandmami. "…N..Nothing, I.. just felt like wearing this for today…" Yeah right. Admittedly, Django agreed that the scarf was hideous, especially on him. But if he wore a hat it wouldn’t cover it as well.

"You're hiding something," she hissed, nearly leaning over the boy. She had learned from their last escapade with that Dr Chicken boy that he was a terrible liar, not at all like he used to be. She reached a hand out for the wrap, aiming to remove it which wouldn't too difficult at all if he stayed turned away.

She narrowed her eyes at him, not entirely believing him. His behavior was too suspicious and-

"What happened to your cute cowboy hat? This," she searched for the word while gesturing to the thing on his head with obvious dissatisfaction, "Wrap is awful. If you need a new hat, take one from the bandidos until you can replace your old one." Hn, did she have to tell him how to do everything? What happened to when he came to her with evil plans and schemes? Was it really that long ago?

Did you hear? Django just got beaten by Black Cuervo!

"WHAT? WHO DARES SPREAD SUCH LIES?”

Sartana’s boiling rage halted though, a rare occurrence to be sure. There had been something strange about her grandson and the city was relatively peaceful, considering its usual state of crime…

"Wait here," Sartana told the greyface before leaving to confirm it for herself. If it was truly a lie, the anon would suffer. If it was the truth, however, her grandson might end up considerably more dead than he already was.

Sartana rolled her shoulders, a slight ache in her bones from being gone for so long. Well, it wasn't always so bad to get away for a while, but putting the upstart villains that tried to seize control when she was gone back into their proper places -- six feet below her -- was quite tedious.

She would have to see if her grandson had been keeping the chaos in Miracle City, as he should have been. Something about him was different, though. She didn't want to jump to conclusions, but it did seem as if he had gone... soft. It was probably just her own imagination.

Or rather, it better be.

Widening his eye at the incoming blast the boy quickly ducked on to the ground. The bolt scourged the top of his hair as it flew over him. Leaving it a bit shorter and burnt with a small flame still burning on a lock of his hair.

Opening his eye he gave a smug grin to Sartana, seeing that her arm was missing. He didn’t even mind or notice the fact his hair was on fire, he rolled back on his feet and shot again. Taking his change to try and shoot her and her guitar.

That face; Tigre had always made the same face. It reminded her of a game, but also irritated her. Sartana may be missing an arm, but she was still the most feared villain in all of Miracle City!

She saw the boy take aim again and she decided to take action as he fired. With her remaining arm, Sartana slammed down her mystic guitar, opening a crackling rift in the ground. It spread and crawled towards the cranky child, and she grinned, expecting that it would continue and open beneath him, swallowing him whole. She didn't expect for him to aim correctly, however, and his next shot went straight through her guitar and dress. She frowned again, knowing what was to come. "You're going to pay for this!" Sartana shouted before she crumbled to dust.

Gritting his teeth he jumped out of the way of the incoming bone fragments. A few slightly cut his coat when soaring past him. ” NO YOU KILLED MY BROTHER YOU DUMB BAG OF BONES!” Even when fighting Sartana of the Dead he still had the tendency to unnecessarily insult people.

The boy raised his laser up again ready to shoot at any moment. ”AND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH KILLING HIM FOR SOMETHING THAT IS THAT DISGUSTING THING YOU CALL A GRANDSON’S FAULT THEN YOU ARE MISTAKING!”

Sartana's lipstick accented how deep her frown was at that. This flesh bag dared to insult Sartana of the Dead? And her grandson? Well, the latter wasn't really her problem. He needed to defend his evil name on his own, but apparently he wasn't doing a very good job of it. Was Django really going soft? Wrapped by his little secret affair, was he... becoming good? She would need to investigate it later and, although she wouldn't admit it, this suspicion distracted her from the fight.

"I should reunite you two then!" Sartana aimed her guitar as the boy aimed his laser. They fired at the same time, though the trajectory was different for both. His blast hit her left arm, sending it flying to the rubble behind them. "Maldecir," she hissed quietly to herself, suddenly remembering one of the downsides to being a skeleton.

Then she looked up to see what damage her own blast had done, hoping to see the foolish boy looking very much like his brother.

Hearing the light strumming of the snares made him feel nervous. This was Sartana of the dead after all, she was feared for a reason. And even though his family could easily defy dead he didn’t want to die, perhaps he was more scared about failing then actually dying?

Taking a deep breath he tried to get it all out of his mind, this was all going according to plan and he wasn’t going to cower before the lady when facing her definitely not.

Getting his move on Chipotle sneaked behind her again for one last sneak attack. This was going to be it.

He took out his laser gun and started to shoot rapidly at Sartana, careful enough to keep his distance.

After the first shot passed by her, Sartana whipped around and reacted just in time to miss all of the shots fired at her. Well, almost. A skull from her hat was blown away and the collar of her dress was singed.

When she saw who it was shooting at her, she felt a little curious, "Didn't I just kill you?" and excited at the chance to do it again. This one did look different, though. Perhaps a relative? No matter.

Sartana played a new riff on her guitar, raising the bone pieces from her shattered bandidos and shooting them at the... spunky boy? After slaying the first one, the name just slipped her mind. Ah well, it wasn't important.

((i've been thinking about male Sartana (Santiago, as he is called for now) and everything is beautiful. Like he's going to call Djamila "huesos dulces" or other names that i hope google translate won't lie to me about that put pretty words with skeleton words.))

((Edit: his name is Sabata of the Dead. I looked up Spaghetti Westerns and was like, "ooooooh." So yeah, Sabata would be the most fitting name. ))

Crap he had hoped that it would take longer for them to focus on the cash. The scientist looked around for a new hiding spot, somewhere out of Sartana’s eyesight. Quietly he changed spot and hid behind the row of counters through the shadows. Hopefully she didn’t notice him or only saw a small shadow moving around.

Crawling to the other end of the row, the boy peeked around it’s corner. Good he managed to get behind her and the bandidoos now. Quickly he took two birds with one stone or rather snatched both the skeletons at the same time and flung them out of the building.
