Put on a charisma house music playlist recently that happened to have a bunch of stage play songs. I didn't realize the stage play used original songs for the charisma breaks? I think most of the stage 2nd break songs are worse than the webseries ones though. Just feels like the concepts are less interesting. Iori & amahiko's shopping boogie woogie is predictably the best stage song

People in my (main's) notes keep citing sanrio boys and fragaria memories as examples of how sparklink stars is just eating reheated nachos by humanizing disney characters, but like. First of all sanrio boys isn't even humanizations, they're just boys who like sanrio. Second of all sanrio characters are literally designed to be marketable mascots devoid of all context. I do think turning them into ikemen is just fundamentally different than turning roz the slug into an ikemen

you may be familiar with disney twisted wonderland, the gacha game in which various disney villains are used as direct inspiration for handsome anime boys. well that game was so successful that disney is trying to do it again but this time they're just animeboyifying whatever

here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you
