Dunno if you watched the new ep of ava
The episode was epic though
What are your thoughts about it?
Oh, I don't know - I think it was fine, nothing too crazy.
I did see it coming, it was the most realistic outcome.
I don't know why everyone is losing their shit over this, really.
Alan and his team did do way crazier things in their time storytelling AvA and AvM, this isn't even in my top 3 episodes tbh.
Because: No way in hell would Dark ever play fair - so I wasn't that shocked? I did find it interesting that the revival worked (poor Second) - and I also like the way that the mercs (minus Agent) kind of teamed up with the gang to idk keep themselves safe from a nuke? I'm sure they'll build a relationship/partnership on that. Would be a waste not to. It's probably gonna be rocky though since they just fought.
But kinda crazy how that all escalated. It's very, very violent if you think about it. But in actuallity, I anticipated something more crazy, so I'm fine. Again, Nothing I didn't expect. Definetly not good that uhhhhh, Dark now has a God following his every comand, ah!, but I'm sure they'll figure it out.
- I mean, we saw that they're zombies, but that their consciousness is inside them, e.g. Mitsi - so I think that after or in the middle of the final fight kinda thing, Mitsi will be there to break through to her true love victim and then they safe the day. Yippie. Perhaps a cured victim could do some undercover work to catch Dark off guard? Or would someone like Dark have Spider senses? Idk.
A view of the new Dark-lair could be cool.
A victim vs. victim would go hard though... oh my god.
What I really, really love about this episode is that they have so many cool ways of continuing from here, which I find more exciting that what actually happened here.
Imagine if they manage to clone the color gang or the mercs too. IMAGINE A CLONE CHOSEN ONE- But I'm not certain if Dark would go that far. What am I talking about, of course he would. But it's interesting because they cannot clone Second, which opens narrative suspension. Superb building anticipation. Truely! Because as we know, Second is the strongest of them. But it would be boring to see him solo everyone, I wish not for that to happen. It's too simple, too unsatisfying.
Then, there is also Chosen. I don't know about him, they would have to establish contact with Alan to get his powers back. Or, I imagine if victim finds his way back to us, he'll reconsile with Chosen and face Dark together. Since he now knows Chosen actually didn't kill Mitsi. Whoops
A victim/Chosen/Second vs. The Dark Lord. That would be cool, but I also think that would be too much of an imprint of Dark's strength, I'm not sure how'd I feel about that. And I sincerely hope Alan fixed his computer by now. Lmao. Again, so much can happen which would all be equally cool. It's one of the reasons I started picking up story writing myself.
Either way, loved the animation, especially the fights.
I STRIVE to conceptionalize and draw fights like that one day, so I guess I'll have to keep practicing!
So my prediction is that it will go bad, then worse to build tension and a sense of doom - maybe Dark will rule the Outernet successfully for a time before being 'overthrown' - he could underestimate his foes especially BECAUSE he has victim and Agent. I sort of expect him to see torturing everyone by killing the clones over and over, in turn making Second use his powers over and over.
Alan, hire me-
But I know that they wouldn't leave this on a catastrophic end, because then they wouldn't be able to keep going with these characters.
But enough ranting.
Jesus, I wanted to keep this brief - what the hell happened?
But yo imagine if my characters got a cameo SOMEWHERE in this. That would be everything I ever dreamed for, but I'm delusional for thinking that.
