I wanted to let the Grack in the first pic shine by himself, but the second one is really cool too. He has been coming for several years now, and I always recognize him. I find it fascinating how they go so far away and still return to the same spot year after year.

Goodnight world...💤
Flowing through 255 miles of the least developed country in the Upper Midwest, Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway in Wisconsin and Minnesota is a scenic and recreational wonder. Visitors can explore rich forests and pristine waters and many enjoy paddling, floating and fishing in the summer. According to photographer Kate Wright, it’s a great place for winter fun as well. “This photo was taken on a last-minute snowshoe outing with two close friends. We had no idea to expect such an incredible sunset and we chose to stop and really take in the moment. We are so lucky to have this in our community!” Photo courtesy of Kate Wright.
