A friend is someone we look forward to meet and hang out with. How would you feel if your best friend refuses to converse with you or avoids talking you? Can you imagine the hurt it’ll cause you? How often we do that to God? He has laid down His life to have a relationship with you and me. How often we totally ignore Him through the day, through the week. We go to Him only when need arises. The TV, the texting and the Facebook takes away the precious moments that we can spend with Him. If this be the case, how can you expect to spend eternity with Him, to be in sweet communion with Him forever and ever? My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Psalm 42:2 Like the Psalmist, is our soul thirsting for the living God?
