"Perhaps or perhaps I was tired of watching what's mine prance around with others that weren't me" he winked "I have known for a long time what you meant to me but I waited and let you sow your wild oats before I claimed what is mine" he says kissing the corner of his mouth before standing up and taking his hand.

David followed Magnus to the dance floor, melting against him as they danced. He looked up at the older warlock and raised an eyebrow. "Well?"

David laughed and brushed the glitter off of him. "It seems Lady Fate as other plans, darling" he says guiding Magnus's hand to his hip where his initials lie.

David laughed. "Raise my standards? Being the soulmate of Magnus Bane is the highest standard, love. If I raise them any higher I might float away and then what?" He says stealing a kiss as they danced.
