"Well I wouldnt want him to be angry at you but I am also selfish and like talking to you" Charlie smiled "Oh Lee Moons are notoriously friendly and flirtatious but we can also be lethal when provoked or when someone harms someone we care about. We have quite a few knights among us"

Daeva's lip curled. He could warn people. He couldn't force them to go. But he couldn't help but feel relieved he hadn't scared the fae away. "I don't know much about the fae here. Where I'm from there aren't many. It's too cold for a lot of them."

"I'm very aware. I have been friends with Elijah Mikaelson for several centuries now and my brother is an old acquaintance of Kol Mikaelson." Sera ssys before humming "Ah a jealous lover. That seems to be going around these days. And are you his lover by choice?"

"I would like to meet the Mikaelsons some day. Just to see how they are. The rumors are many. Her question made him pause to think. Was he with Morpheus because he loved him? Or because he was supposed to love him? "I'm....not sure anymore. It's been over a century."

"Ah one of those. My friend used to he involved with one of those before getting free. His lover cut him off from everyone including his platonic soulmate." David says before humming* "He does. He has a home for orphaned warlocks but he has personally adopted a vampire in the past. Sadly Raphael is no longer with us but he still has his adoptive son Eric, a warlock. Are you interested in being taken in? I could help you talk to Magnus. He and I both enjoy helping when we can. Especially those in...less than ideal situations."

Daeva considered the question. It wasn't that Morpheus didn't treat him well. He certainly made sure he had everything he needed. Things he wanted. As a lover he was attentive. But...to everyone else he was a monster. So...where did that leave him. "No...I don't want to leave him. I just have heard so many things about Mr. Bane. Just wanted to see if any of them are true. He's held New York for quite some time."

"Well aren't you a darling, pretty too. My nephew Charlie would jump at the chance to kiss a pretty vampire like yourself." Sera chuckles as she hands him a drink.

"Oh you flatterer" Sera giggled and nudged him playfully as she sipped her drink. "Charlie is a good boy, smart, but I fear hus fascination with vampires will get him into trouble one day" she sighs

“We vampires are dangerous. You should warn him to stay away. Especially from me. My maker doesn’t take kindly to people flirting with me. He’s very possessive.”

"Ah news travels doesn't it?" David chuckles "I suppose it does belong to another but he is quite hard to capture but well worth the effort." The fae winks. "But you are a pretty little thing, you shouldn't have any issue finding someone to kiss you"

"One learns that Magnus Bane is most definitely worth it" Dsvid chuckled before humming. "You don't take compliments well do you? Is it because you don't believe you deserve them? I've seen it before with someone else I hold dear" he says.

“I can only accept compliments from my maker. It’s safer for you not to compliment me.” He said softly. “Your words are appreciated though.” He glanced over towards where Magnus was. “Is it true what they say about him? That he takes in orphans?”

Hiro tilts his head to the side as he listened to the vampire speak, his voice making his inner bear purr contently. "Why not? If you don't mind me asking." He asks, genuinely curious "And I am a born Alpha Shifter, not turned. Asiatic Black Bear from Okinawa originally before I was adopted by an Alpha wolf from Korea. I just don't get out much because mingling isn't really my thing." Hiro shrugs "I'm Hiro"

"And why is that?" Hiro asked, sipping his drink. "What makes you different from the other supernaturals in attendance?" He asks genuinely curious. "What's your name, ikemen?" He asks.

“Shifters and vampires. We’re enemies. Well… my maker isn’t a typical vampire. He doesn’t play nice with people who talk to me.”

“Why would I willingly provide my name to you? Perhaps you mean trouble for me and my kind. You are an alpha.” He teased.

Charlie smiled and ordered the other man a drink. "Charlie" he says sipping his own drink. "Why is someone as beautiful as you sitting alone at the bar? With that face you should have people lining up to offer you a drink or a kiss"

"Oh does he do that often? I admit most of my dealings with vampires are associates of the Originals" Charlie asked curiously "Oh Aunt Sera? She likes to mingle during these events. She's pretty friendly with all kinds of people"

“No.” He replied. “He doesn’t come to things like this. But he doesn’t like me to talk with people. I imagine he will be quite cross with me once he finds out I came here.”

“She was very friendly. Seems to run in your family.”

"From where I come from...the wait is always worth it." Daeva ducked his head. If vampire's could flush he would have. He'd gotten these sorts of comments all night. He was glad Morpheus wasn't there. He certainly would have objected. "Thank you."

"Well aren't you a darling, pretty too. My nephew Charlie would jump at the chance to kiss a pretty vampire like yourself." Sera chuckles as she hands him a drink.

"Thank you for the compliment. Coming from a true beauty such as yourself it is humbling." At the comment of her nephew his lips turned up slightly. "He's welcome to try."

Charlie smiled and ordered the other man a drink. "Charlie" he says sipping his own drink. "Why is someone as beautiful as you sitting alone at the bar? With that face you should have people lining up to offer you a drink or a kiss"

His iips turned up until they smiled. "Biding my time until my maker arrives to start a scene." He commented, though Morpheus never came to things like this. Sighing, he accepted the drink with a nod of thanks. "I believe I met your Aunt earlier."

Daeva hid his eyes for a moment before turning them towards the shifter. "He's antisocial and likes to eat the people he mingles with. So..."

He turned fully to Hiro. "Well...if I'm being honest. You give off strong Alpha vibes. So in the respect of keeping the bloodshed at bay. You most certainly should not be speaking with me."

He didn't move though. He did warn him. That was about all he did. "Hello Hiro."

"I don't really get out much but this seems nice" Hiro says sipping a drink.

Hiro turned to face the vampire when he heard him sigh, his dainty smile making him even more beautiful if that were possible. Something inside Hiro stirred as he took in the vampire, his beat waking up with curiosity at the beautiful man. "Hello. What is a beauty like you doing sitting alone?" He asks.

Daeva finished his sip of blood before casting a side eye towards the shifter beside him. His exotic scent reminded him of the bear shifters in the Arctic. “I am always alone.” He paused, pressing his lips together. Then he decided to turn towards the other man. “My maker doesn’t like me mingling with people other than him. And yours?”

"I don't really get out much but this seems nice" Hiro says sipping a drink.

Daeva sat silently, just listening to the people around him. When the shifter spoke to the bartender he sighed softly. But his lip curled into a dainty smile.

"I'm not interested in your kisses, darling, but there is an open bar. Feel free to take advantage" David replies.

He smiled a little at that. "Well that's a shame. Though your heart belong so another. Or so I hear."

[lee-moon-mother]

"Oh honey, you couldn't handle one of my kisses but I will get you a drink regardless" Sera chuckles.

Daeva flashed both sets of his fangs. "I think you'll find I can handle quite a bit." He bowed a bit. "But I thank you for your hospitality."

Charlie looks up from his spot at the bar. "I'm down"

Daeva slunk a little closed. "Why thank you...." He leaned in to press a soft kiss to the other man's cheek. "I'll take a whiskey sour..." He daintily seated himself. "Daeva...and you are?"

Daeva slowly emerged from under a flickering lamp. His eyes lazily took in the vibrant nightmare market. With a heavy sigh he pouted. "Who do I have to kiss to get a drink?"
