I applaud the effort that went into this seconds-long bit.
(THE LAMP IS STICKING STRAIGHT OUT FROM THE WALL!)
For anyone who wants a side-by-side comparison to appreciate everything that moved, here you go:
My favourite detail is the plants on the windowsill getting rotated up sideways
hat tip @merwey that's a very good addition!

THE GOOD PLACE (2016-2020)
4.06 â A Chip Driver Mystery
Listen, I donât even know
Smart and stupid all in the same package! Oh~ the trials and tribulations of crushing on a smartass idiot. Even the help of a over seas monarch is to weak against the danceness of one.
I love Stardew Valley, it's such a comfortable game to play, but the plot feels a little light at times. I bet it would be more compelling if the farmer had amnesia, crippling substance dependence and was suffering so much mental degradation that he thought his clothes were speaking to him.
hinasouda week 2025 DAY ONE - first date/sick day
panel not shown; hajime immediately shoving kazuichi off of him bc he thinks he just wiped his boogers on his hoodie EW DUDE EW!!!
pc still broke have this real old soumaeda comic from 2021
some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, âwhatâs the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?â and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is âunofficialâ, and we know thatâs not the right word, but itâs the only word we can come up withâŠuntil finally itâs like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is âartificialâ.
I couldn't remember the word "doorknob" ten minutes ago.
ok but the onelook thesaurus will save your life, i literally could not live without this website

My fellow writers, I beseech thee:
Add this wonderful resource to your chest of tools~
I really like these 2
i love him very much
If you're anything like me, you're constantly talking about svsss and when someone says, "wait, when did that happen?" you can't remember the exact chapter and have to read through the entire book again.
So I've made a little log of scum villain trivia, the exact quote (from the official English translation) and where it is.
I've just started working on it today, so it's VERY incomplete, but I will add on everytime I reread svsss which is... very often. If you're a fan fic writer who just wants to quickly gloss over a character's canon before writing, or even someone who just wants to see factoids, feel free to browse this!

By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.
Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):
Executive functioning skills range from working memory to cognitive flexibility to inhibitory control, and beyond. They power our daily func
Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):
Practical Strategies for Enhancing Executive Functioning Difficulties in Adults With Autism - Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as
Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You might always have a disability around this (I certainly always will), but it can be easier. You do not have to be this stuck forever.
We need like âunclench your jawâ posts but for eye strain. Like
Go look at something 20ft away for 20 seconds.
take off your glasses if you wear them for 20 seconds
Recommended by my optometrist
Look at something 20 feet away, then 10, then 5, then one, then if you can your nose.
Repeat twice, then again without glasses.
Face forward look out of the corner of your eye. As far as you can look. Slowly move to the other corner. Repeat twice.
Look down as far as you can. Slowly look up. Repeat twice.
Roll eyes twice.
Close eyes for five minutes.
I do this every day usually at my halfway point. My migraines went away. My vision go better. Honestly stretching my eyes as she put it feels great too.
