Is okay if you are not comfortable writing it-fanfic or headcanon an angst of mc sacrificing her life to return Lilith to them and lilth come back so she told she's only here becuz the mc bought her back how would the demon brother cope with it-
THE BROTHERS' REACTION TO MC SACRIFICING THEMSELVES TO BRING LILITH BACK
→He's angry and confused.
→He loved Lilith, far more than he'd ever loved MC, yet... why did he feel like that?
→His heart was aching, knowing MC had done something like that for him and his brothers.
→Yet, he just couldn't be relieved.
→He should be happy Lilith was back.
→MC, the only human he had ever gotten close to, was gone.
→He was angry with himself. I should've known, he kept telling himself.
→Because, no matter how much he loved his sister, bringing her back in such a way was a decision which he knew would have many consequences.
→Lord Diavolo wouldn't be happy with this either. A human was lost, sacrificed. Yes, it happened on their own accord, but regardless, what would they say to their family?
→"I'm sorry, you child sacrificed themselves to bring back a fallen angel."
→It didn't even make sense why they did it. He was just so frustrated, angry and confused, so much that he could make a new Satan.
→If he lost his cool, then his brothers would be doomed.
→And he didn’t wanna lose more people
→He's confused as it goes.
→He can barely speak, but is so happy to see his sister. He doesn't even try to hide his excitement.
→That's before an idea pops into his head.
→"Oi, Lilith, you gotta meet MC!"
→Silence fall into the room.
→Lilith explains, and Mammon is shaken up.
→His human was dead... They sacrificed themselves for Lilith... How stupid!
→He was kicking and screaming. Why couldn't he have both?! He couldn't possibly choose, but he also couldn't let his human die!
→Yet, he did. And he didn't even know about it.
→He was their first, yet allowed this to happen.
→Has very mixed feelings towards Lilith. He loved her, she was his sister, but MC was a different kind of love to him.
→But he wanted to have both. He went to all the witches he knew and begged to bring her back, only to be told that it could only happen if Lilith went.
→It was one or the other.
→And Mammon couldn't choose. He was close to sacrificing Lilith, yes, but he could never do it, no matter how much his greed clouded his judgement.
→He was happy when he saw Lilith again
→He didn't know what to do, honestly.
→The only thing he could do was move on, Ig.
→He locked himself in his room. But this time, he didn't even go out for dinner or anything else.
→Satan or Lucifer was the one who brought him food. The rest of his necessities, he got from Akuzon.
→That didn't worry his brothers too much. By the time it was announced, they expected it.
→But him turning away from all social media, now that was new.
→He had deactivated all of his accounts.
→The only way to communicate with people was his D.D.D., which he didn't use much.
→He preferred playing games and watching anime with protagonists who reminded him of MC.
→It took lots of convincing — and surprisingly not scolding — from Lucifer to make him continue his classes, or, at the very least, care for himself.
→Having no previous connection with Lilith, you can tell he was pissed.
→Like, very fucking pissed.
→He immediately went on demon form and started insulting his brothers.
→”YOU GUILT-TRIPPED MC INTO DOING THIS!! ‘LILITH THIS, LILITH THAT!”
→Well, that’s a lie. He did attack Lucifer.
→All his books were scattered across the floor, burnt, torn or completely destroyed.
→He didn’t like Lilith when he calmed down.
→He blamed her for what happened to MC.
→Yes, it was MC’s decision, but for that he blamed his brothers’ pushiness.
→Took it the worst from all the others.
→Because the others at least had a connection with Lilith; he didn’t even have that.
→They would be able to see MC in Lilith. But him?
→He would never be able to do that.
→MC was gone; that was it.
→Yet again, he still didn’t hold it against Lilith.
→He actually went that extra mile and hugged her.
→It was the only thing left from MC.
→He’s a master at hiding his true emotions, so not much changed on the outside.
→I mean, of course he wouldn’t let himself go.
→But of course, every time he bought a new face cream, he’d text MC about it, only to realise that she’s gone.
→Crying wasn’t good for the eyes.
→Yet he couldn’t stop the tears teh first few days or weeks.
→But, soon, he managed to deal with it.
→And I mean, SO confused.
→He was already blaming himself for Lilith, so when he came back, he was so happy.
→He could finally have a happy family.
→Him, Belphie, Lilith and MC. His brothers too, of course.
→After Lilith explained, he didn’t know how to feel.
→He honestly blamed himself once more.
→He was aware of how much he loved Lilith, and MC knew that. They knew that it the guilt was eating him away.
→So he thought they did it for him.
→He doesn’t really cope with it.
→He just does what he did with Lilith.
→Eat, and talk to Belphie.
→But there was a huge void in his heart.
→Just like his twin, he was really happy.
→Beel was finally gonna be happy, he wouldn’t blame himself or have nightmares, they’d all sleep together in the same room. It seemed like a dream!
→”Huh? Why aren’t you guys happy?”
→Beel was the one who told him.
→Which broke his heart more than anything.
→He saw it in his brother’s eyes.
→Yet the only thing Belphie mumbled was:
→”What did I expect from a stupid human?”
→His hatred for humanity has gone off the charts.
→”Why do humans have to be so emotional??”
→He sleeps far more than any other time during his life.
→But he hides everything else.
→Mostly because he wants to help Beel.
→If he broke, Beel would too.
→He just had to go on with his life.
→MC would’ve died anyway.
