Supernatural was my second fandom ever. I got here right after finishing Sherlock, because I heard many good things about big and supportive SPN Family.

It wasn’t what I expected it to be. My favorite characters were constantly hated or had really small adoration circles. There was very much posts full of negativity and just as many toxic people. But there were also amazing blogs and talented artists, fantastic writers, gif makers, bang organizers. The show itself brought me pain, happiness, made me laugh and smile and cry more times than I can count. I found my biggest OTPs here, and beloved characters who are still on top of my list despite me joining many other fandoms.

Thanks to it, I met some amazing people too. People with whom I keep in touch through Lucifer’s Legion chat, people who I’m just following on Tumblr and checking their blogs regularly, and who are one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

The end of an Era...

But not the end of us

I was honestly waiting for the announcement, and now it’s there. Gosh, I’m gonna miss the show. It had me scared shitless, laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe, morning over loss and pain, on the edge of my seat and in love with the characters. It was everything, everything I ever needed in a show. I am forever grateful for what the actors, the crew, the network and everyone who was involved, has created.

This might sound a little weird, but I’m also happy. Supernatural is gonna go out on its own terms, because that’s how SPN rolls. Imagine the final season, imagine the finale! It’s going to be beyond epic! 

And after that? After the end, not only the angels will spread their wings and fly out. Our boys will finally have more time with their families, will get new opportunities, new challenges. Think of what great things they have given us and what more might come our way. 

But the most important thing this show has given me, is never going to fade away. It’s this group of interesting people who supported Supernatural and supported each other. The fandom, our family.
